The thing I fear the most about this Zelda is that the story will be severely downplayed. If a gender option is announced, that will most definitely confirm that.

In most Zelda games you could change the gender of link without the need to change the story.

With Neo and Scorpio on the way I dont think it will happen. I dont see ninty putting out a console with even half those specs. It is really a shame because if they did it would be the only machine I would ever need.

Mentioned on the other thread but this is actually the first Zelda game to debut on more powerful hardware since The Wind Waker in 2003, 13 years ago. Scandalous!

Every Zelda including TWW and since has been on hardware as powerful as the GameCube/PlayStation 2.

One of the biggest reasons the series hasn't progressed well and has become somewhat stale (although ALBW is very good). Imagine we'd only ever played GTA with PS2 graphics since 2003 when GTA3 came out.
