The fact that they outright mentioned eating electricity makes me thing it is a beetle mon, particularly the rhinoceros beetle. Japan likes to associate lightning and electricity with them.

Hell maybe make it a split evo - Grubbin either becomes a stag or rhino beetle.

Not that we know of.

The only speculation I'd seen was that rather than having established buildings as gyms, the platforms scattered across the map would serve the same purpose. I don't think anyone's suggesting they're getting rid of the 8 badges format.

So I'm assuming Tapa Koko will end up being a Pokemon? It's weird for this series to feature a deity figure that you can't capture.

I'm still skeptical, but hopefully ORAS's flaws were mainly caused by it having such a short dev time and not because of the director.

Liking the new designs. As I've stated before, it's rivaling Gen VI for best dex.
Pikipek looks like he'll match up to Staraptor design wise, and Yungoos looks hilarious. Quite uniwue for the regional rodent. Not much of a opinion on Grubbin yey, but the bug fellows aren't my thing. Can definitely see potential in it though.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the new battle interface. It has that sort of surfer tribal design that relates to Alola so well. You can see how much care is being put in this game. So hyped for it!

As for Popplio learning a Fairy move, I hope it doesn't gain that fairy typing. I mean we already have Azumarill.

And potentially get in the way of my dream of a special oriented Fairy/Water seahorse and since Dragalge is already rocking the leafy look I want a realistic coral pink/orange and bumpy design to it with maybe a just a sprinkle of pixie in it.

After watching the Treehouse footage Sun and Moon is what I wanted X and Y to be and just build upon Gen 5.

I mean the trainer battle intro in gen 6 was a regression compare to gen 5 but Sun and Moon felt like a natural progression and just brought it into 3D.

I am actually getting hyped now and the new Pokémon just look amazing.
