Hopefully we can upgrade stamina at some point. I don't think it ever happened in SS, but the meter seemed to empty quicker here and be used for more things.

Why talk about amiibo's when release is so far out? We don't even have a release date. Seems kinda pointless.

We still don't know how Amiibo will work in game. So I'm actually really excited to see what Amiibo will do and what it unlocks or what effects it has on the game.

I haven't been paying full attention to the stream. Have they or will they talk about the story or at least the objectives you'll be doing in the game?

I can't stop watching this. It's so immersive.

I think we might be seeing one of the greatest games of all times unfold in front of us right now, if not, THE greatest of all time.

That's the crazy part: everything so far is just out in the open world, they haven't attempted anything in the main quest so far. I have no idea if they'll do so.

I think I've seen enough. And so far it's exceeded my expectations. Great job!

I'll just watch the replays later. 3AM now lol.

Please make a town exploration next.

Chill, keep your expectations in check

uhhhhhh....wtf

Ok "a GameCube game" is a bit harsh and nowhere near accurate but in 2016 this is not exactly pushing any envelopes. Its not "ugly" but it looks... dated.

I'm just hoping the world is more dense than it appears, with lots of unique locations and reasons to explore them. From what I've seen it looks like a lot of open (and empty) world.

Have they shown towns or anything?

Uh... Am I the only one that is incredibly underwhelmed by what has been shown so far? :( not only does it look like a GameCube game, it seems to have the gameplay of a 5+ year old game to boot. Why are we supposed to be impressed by an incredibly sparse open world, ultra simplistic crafting systems that have been present in other games for literally decades, the same old combat, simplistic world interactions and a stealth meter that wouldn't have been very impressive in Wind Waker let alone a Wii U/NX game...

Technically the game also looks extremely poor with horrible low rest textures, barely any geometry, last gen animations, barely any lighting effects to speak of and what looks to be a dire frame rate... I can only hope these will massively improve over time and on the NX, although considering the amount of time this has been in gestation I find it hard to see it as anything other than a bad sign generally.

I don't doubt it will be a Good Game(tm) but I can't help but feel this is just no where near good enough for greatness and I really can't believe this is their entire E3..

I'm fine with the gameplay shown, but I do find myself wishing the world was a bit more dense with vegetation/life. I'm hoping it's just by virtue of being a demo, but a lot of the environmental assets/encampments look randomly clone stamped around the map. Kind of my same complaint with Twilight Princess' largely useless and empty overworld.

Granted, still being a year off there's plenty of time to improve.

I like the temporary hearts tied to food mechanic. It's instantly familiar from playing the Monster Hunter series. And I wonder if the weapon variety in Zelda Warriors was an inspiration of sorts.

Well i think it gonna be a great open world style zelda game that takes the series in a needed new direction but im not sure about greatest game of all time

Hard to see why people say it's the same thing over and over again. You're shown in-depth the variety of things you can do with the same objects. You can hurl environmental things at your enemies to kill them in a big physics sandbox. You an throw damaged weapons or use severed limbs, bombs, arrow down fires to start an explosion. Battle animations vary in speed and damage depending on the weapon type. Food effects appear to vary from simply restoring from basic foods to providing substantial temporary max HP boosts from fully cooked meals.

If you're seeing 'the same thing over and over again' then you're intentionally ignoring all the new elements they've spent the last hour showing you. Clearly this isn't a zelda game for you. You do you, friend.

I am very happy they said this is less than 1% of the game's areas. I was hesitant of seeing a full day of the zelda game and knowing 50% of the game. I do wish we got a LITTLE more of the story though lol.

Demo is only a small part of the game, and I see them purposefully avoiding towns even if they exist in the demo area

She threw the sword, picked it up with a magnet and attacked the enemy with it. Omg

Yeah that was the first time i've been impressed so far.

I was really surprised by the people loving this though, i was convinced i'd be coming in here, and everyone would be mad, lol.
Feel like i'm alone (or near alone) in being underwhelmed so far.

The girl wearing those things in her arms is pretty funny. Reminds me of a good friend I used to have.

I think I'm done with the stream. I can't take it anymore. The wait is going to be unbearable.

Niraj

I shot people I like more for less.
Chiko is so likable. Interested in the amiibo integration, saw that the wolf Link will summon some kind of companion that attacks enemies and helps you hunt

Giving the benefit of doubt that it's still very early but I'd have trouble staying involved with this kinda open world. Coming off Witcher 3, it just doesn't feel alive, lived in?

I expected a good Zelda game going into E3, but god damn I was not expecting it to blow me away as much as it has. Everything is just phenomenal.

I just have a really warm feeling inside from the return of Zelda on console from Nintendo. I've missed it so. I swear I love Link like a member of my own family.

I just can't get over this game. Aonuma and co. have blown me away and I haven't even seen what a proper dungeon looks like in this game. Unbelievable!

It certainly looks like more interesting environmental interaction than, say, Skyrim, which bored me to tears several hours in.
