E3 2016s "Cringe" Moments

That dude who broke his arm wasn't cringe. It was perhaps the greatest moment in E3 history.

EA invested in that promo piece and the dude broke his arm in a foot race. How miffed do your think EA were when they found out? Hilarious.
 
- Carmack doing a Minecraft VR demo was bizarre
- The entire celebrity Battlefield 1 stuff was bizarre
- Ghost Recon Wildlands extreme roleplaying was bizarre
- A lot of stuff in the EA "show", unfortunately


..I guess that's about it. Overall I think E3 has drastically reduced it's weirdness compared to a year or three/four ago.

Oh, speaking of trailers and cameras - camera constantly panning and zooming out of trailers at Microsoft conference was the worst.

Microsoft's conference felt a lot like those e3 showings of old.. Have developers do public speaking, talk about a game no one cares about in a scripted dialogue.

I may be more alone in this, but FFXV has me cringing all day, especially with that bad looking Titan fight with the Skyrim theme song.

I knew I was in for some good cringe when the opening words about Orlando were said as "the tradegy in Orlando".. TRADEGY. One sentence in and I was already feeling it.

I don't know what was up with the Sony dude, but he seemed off his game, like he was trying to take a nap and had to run out to do the thing and was a little behind with his words the whole time. He tried to spin it Shatner style with lots of breaks between words and then a bunch of words all at once.

Haha, I wish Nintendo had one.. Miss Konami and them. e3 was so hilarious. Hard to believe it existed like that. "Here are four actors pretending to play videogames together, and they're using motion control on stage in a 15 minute demonstration."
 
Not really "cringe" but watching 45 minutes of starter pokemon gameplay just waiting for the Zelda presentation to start was so lame and boring...
 
That time when a few GAFers in the Sony E3 Conference OT complained about the the Orlando shooting being brought up by Sony speakers..

This years e3 was surprisingly good compared to others, only bit that was awkward was the ff15 demo which was clearly played in the worst way possible and Jose on stage not really caring.

Also the stupid fucking madden Esports thing at EA. Ea really had nothing to talk about

And the entrance for announcing Trials of the Blood Dragon was the greatest E3 moment in a long time.

I'll be honest I'm glad I didn't sit through any of the conferences from beginning to end but Sony's. Most of them were a mess with Ubi and EA taking the crown.
 
I had to close out of Nintendo's stream during Pokemon. It was so quiet and sad, like Nintendo was having a funeral for itself and only 5 people showed up.

The Final Fantasy XII translator had some kind of stutter, which was also too awkward for me to watch. I had to close out.

Final Fantasy XV had a terrible Monday. They made up for it with the airship footage, but it was definitely a rollercoaster.

People's disappointment towards Scalebound was legitimately sad, because you can tell they really wanted it to be good.

I laughed so goddamn hard. It was one of the funniest E3 moments I've ever seen.

They were in no way "out there". She wasn't wearing anything revealing, she wasn't "asking for it" with the way she was dressed. She was wearing a T-shirt, the same kind all the other Zelda demoers were wearing.
 
That For Honor guy... he kept having a gruff accent then talking the the demo guy in a normal one. I was like ok I feel embarrassed for you now.

The Trials/Blood Dragon thing was pretty fucking awkward too.

Oh, and Battlefield 1 with Zac Efron and Jamie Foxx. Awkward as fuck.

Snoop with a fat J hanging from his mouth on the BF1 stream
Trials guy ruffling that dudes hair
Sony stage presenters coming out to sinister orchestral music making them same like corporate overloards
Reactions to that buxom lady on Nintendo Treehouse
Geoff just climbing behind the TV to plug in the XboneS
 
the scripted crap from Ghost Recon and Sea of Thieves.
That weird chick that kept getting excited about fucking Elder Scrolls online

The Blood Dragon stuff should be on the best of E3
