I'm in the minority who didn't mind the Sea of Thieves stuff. It sounded like some random people playing together having fun. If anyone listened to my friends and I playing it'd probably sound "cringe" as well.

The Minecraft demo was awkward. The presenters didn't have much charisma or stage presence.

They dropped time probably because not a single person came out to talk about games (save for Layden twice and House once). Also I don't think they ever intended to show Neo, if I remember correctly a week or two ago they said they would talk about it later on in the year.

Sony stated a week before E3 that they weren't going to show Neo. Also, its rumored that the Red Dead Redemption 2 reveal was set to close Sonys conference, but due to a scene that resembled the recent shooting, it was cut at the last minute.

That thread is the kind of shit I was talking about the other day. My wife basically had to deal with it daily at Activision when we both worked there years ago before we got married. It was either commenting on her chest size, or asking her if she knew what the buttons on the controller did. They were incredibly lucky that we weren't working on the same projects, because I'd have probably lost my shit and my job had I heard them talking to her like that. Once she left the industry, she vowed to never work in gaming again. Sad and infuriating. Have some fucking class. I get it, attractive people are attractive, and it's one thing to think inappropriate thoughts, a lot of us do, but it's completely another to make a human being feel like meat just for existing. Shameful.


Anyway, I can't personally think of any cringe stuff for this year's E3, but I didn't follow all of the press conferences, and I'm still catching up on all of the gameplay demos and interviews.
