I've got the feeling Mercy is some kind of zombie or vampire of some sort. She heals by healing others, Lucio heals by listening to his healing tunes and Zenyatta doesn't heal at all he just has a big chunk of his health being regenerating shields. Mercy also has an emote where she checks her pulse and shrugs. She's not even alive guys. Mercy is siphoning your blood and exchanging it with her zombie, vampiric juices making you think she's helping you when she's really turning you into one of her thralls. Don't trust Mercy!

This ship is probably due to how their abilities synergize great with eachother ingame. Pharah can jetpack herself to air for long periods of time and Mercy can float and dash to any nearby teammates. A coordinated PharMercy is nothing to sneeze at.
That's what I suspected.
Samus is a human with alien birds and alien jellyfish DNA inside her body. She also lives in the far flung future. Oh and she can morph into a tiny ball.
There's nothing convoluted with mechanical augmentations, which is something that a lot of human OW characters go for. See: Symmetra, McCree, Junkrat, Toblerone, and Hanzo. Why is it so far flung to assume Pharah had the same treatment?
This neither confirms or denies Pharah having mech limbs.
Just to be clear, since this seems to be mistaken a lot, Symmetra's left arm is not robotic. She's just wearing a special piece of armor.

But...it does...
If she's not an amputee, she doesn't have mech limbs.

They said she has her Rapotra suit and nothing else. If the person asked a yes or no question I bet they wouldn't have answered the question at all.
Her mother is speculated to be Sombra so we might get some additional backstory.

Of course they did, but they created a world where people opt in to have mechanical limbs in place of their real ones to enhance their abilities. Why would it be out of the question that Pharah had the whole package done so she can wear that suit?
Suspension of disbelief. Winston wasn't willed into being by a space wizard. He's a product of genetical engineering. That's believable in the context of him being from the near-future world of Overwatch. Pharah naturally fitting into that suit doesn't.
