Readin the reviews and playing the last demo build they released, I think the game will probably earn the $10 I tossed at it. Sad it couldn't be more of what people expected though with all this time.
They've been making huge expansions on Shovel Knight for free already. Another crowdfund for their next game could be needed depending on how long development takes.
It's only 50/50 if you spend your money randomlyWith kickstarter, it's really 50/50. Though i agree that this will hopefully make people wary that you shouldn't put all your trust into even the most well known developers. This will be a blow to Inafunes credibility.
I said as much about the platform stretch goals back during the campaign. Some people were angry. How does this look twice as good as the final product
they really ruined this game by making it for every platform in existence
Perhaps. And if Shenmue turns out good, then they will be back again.
Feels just like yesterday...glad I didn't bother kickstarting it. I feel bad for everyone who did 😔It's not even the concept art, look at this demo video released by Inti Creates during the Kickstarter. It took them seven days to complete.

I have a feeling Inti Creates wanted to stick close to the gameplay present in the above .gif, but Inafune wanted to mix things about (with the dashing, score system, etc.), hence the monstrosity we received. Of course we'll likely never know exactly what went wrong with MN9...
What happened to this concept artist? He should be the art head for the main game.I know it was concept art, but god damn.

I wish this game had turned out well.

IGN said:The soul of the Blue Bomber is nowhere to be found here.
My thoughts exactly. I'll still try it, but I'm starting to regret backing this.Wow, wtf happened?
if bloodstained turns out the same, I got no more hope left in the world.
Reminder that 20XX exists on Steam and is cheaper than MN9.
Steam Sale is a couple days from now as well.

That's exactly the reason. People wanting this on everything without understanding what the consequences could be. It's sad that the prototype is graphically much more impressive.
To those who will buy the game anyway:

CAPCOM:
I feel bad for shitting on Capcom for Mega Man stuff these days. Like, now we know. Now we know the truth.
Didn't Capcom just release that Legacy Collection though? But yeah, they really did him dirty. 😧Capcom leaves Mega Man out to dry
Creator decides to make new IP
Fucks that up too

Go team.

Inafune delivers on Soul Sacrifice though.
Didn't they stop making Mega Man games because people stopped buying them, though? Seems like you should take a good look in the mirror, bucko. They re-released the six NES ones, whoop de doo Basil
If they were still making Mega Man games proper this shit wouldn't have happened. Not that I'm blaming the quality of this game on Capcom, mind you. I'm just really disappointed in everyone.

I actually kept all of my Kickstarter emails. The update where they announce the Unreal demonstration (seven days work), shown in the below .gif:

well...I'll show you rather than tell you.
I'm looking back on this, but not laughing. Thanks, Inafune!
