Hardly surprising when every single vote matters turnout is far higher, unlike our GE voting system where a high percentage of votes are meaningless

Thread should have had a poll

The revisionism begins now.

Leave ran a worse one sure, but fuck me Remain were not good

The campaigns have been disgusting tbh. I'd love to live in a world where the facts are posted unbiased and people could decide without fear mongering or agendas

Now at the Tacky Finger Front Stroke, looks like Nigel Turwiliker is holding a slight lead on Yorkshire's own Wallace Barnsworth!

Does the pound rising actually mean anything?

Yes. It means confidence in the currency. If it's a remain vote, it'll also boost confidence in the financial markets and mean billions of pounds on the FTSE that's been down 800 points on it's high of around 7000 since last year.

If it's any consolation, the EU can remove article 50 from the lisbon treaty without even asking for a referendum, locking everyone in the EU in with no legal way to leave :P

Well yes and no. There doesn't have to be a referendum. However there is no "EU" in a sense that it's some external organization that can just change the treaties. EU is basically a multilateral agreement between sovereign nations, which can only be changed if all the nations agree to change it.

Find it funny how people openly despise Murdoch and his tactics during the entire lead-up to the referendum, then tune in to his channel's coverage on the night.
