The pressure from you guys was enough for me to get Tales of the Borderlands.

Usually really like the TellTale games, so hoping its a good choice despite having no affinity for Borderlands with the exception of playing it in coop with friends

Is the campaign in World at War any good? I want to play a WW2 fps.

Also, how does Verdun play? From what I've seen it looks clunky, but maybe it plays better than it looks?

Verdun aims for more realistic gameplay, so it's kinda clunky, yeah. I think it would be a decent game if they had any community longevity or worked to stop the hackers. Been a while since I played though, so I can't speak to whether the problems are still there.

Was max payne 3 a disappointment when compare to the others in the series?

I was a rare snowflake and loved the original games and also loved the 3rd one. At the very least, i can say it plays very well, and looks very expensive. Lots of effort went into it. Also the music soundtrack was amazing.

I never played Vanishing of Ethan Carter and I see there is a VR version. I think I'll grab that and play it whenever I get a VR headset.

Already spent 100 Trump Dollars. :-\

Anyone plays Darkest Dungeon and can vouch for its legitimacy?

It's very enjoyable initially but it overstays its welcome by quite a bit. It ends up being too repetitive and grindy and fairly often makes the mistake of confusing obtuseness (especially in its UI) and "unfairness" with difficulty (e.g the new invasion town event). Still, you'll get a good few hours out of it before those problems become an issue.

You won't need it. I played a few hours of the series at the most and this game landed very highly on my GOTY.

Just a well written, well executed narrative that is funny without being dumb, with slight pulls at the emotional strings that get used to te story's advantage.

You will have fun with it... for a while. Then it will crush you and you will hate it with every ounce of your being.

You mean, Dankest Dungeon? It's dope. Definitely pick it up if you're interested.

I have a love/hate relation with DD. But it's more love than hate :)

Very good, Very RNG based. Prepare to die a lot.

Hmm. will add to cart and watch a couple LPs for now, thanks guys.

Well I've wanted Brave New World for a while..

Glad I looked at the bundle first.

Is there any way to get rid of the VR tab in the Steam library? It shouldn't bother me but it does, even moreso than Capcom's ridiculous naming scheme for RE games.

I was checking through my inventory earlier and I realised someone gifted me a Russian gift of Dark Souls 2 Season Pass some time ago and I had not activated it. Is it safe for me to use a VPN to activate it even though my copy of Dark Souls 2 is UK?

Just wondering, I will probably pick up Scholar of the first sin anyways in the sale.

I've played a grand total of about 4 hours spread across all of the Borderlands games, and TftB is BY FAR the best TellTale game of that style, in my opinion. If anything, the TellTale game gave me a little more affinity for Borderlands. If you like the other games, you will surely like this one.

Guys, I've been hitting the Parodius series up hard this past week and I demand more shmups, any good ones on Steam apart from Jamestown (is the DLC worth it?) and Astebreed? No bullet hells, I think Parodius poses a serious challenge :lol.

Good haul, Necrodancer is amazing. Rise of Nations is amazing too, one of my favourite RTS games ever made, has an amazing OST as well. Cities is fantastic as well and while I only played the demo of DOOM, I consider it a great demo.

Try Satazius.

Sweet lord, for how months/years is GTA V going to be a top seller?

It's mind-blowing.

I really wish it'd go under $30, I'd finally buy it.

Also Dark Souls 2's season pass still hasn't been discounted. WTF, Namco?

Picked up

+ Shadowrun: Hong Kong
+ Ryse
+ Neon Struct

Might get Doom or Dragon's Dogma later, but they're both a little expensive for me right now. Doom I understand why but still, it will definitely be 20 bucks soon enough.

Not sure if I'll even buy anything this time. Deals are disappointing all-around. A solid third of my wishlist is either not on sale or more expensive than previous sales.

PMed you rizzle, thanks for the offer :)

Oh man, you're going to love it. It'll invest you in that universe way better than any borderlands has before.

Fuck it's amazing.

Want to get The Witcher 3's last DLC Blood and Wine. Is there any chance it will go down in price this sale? I swear I bought the Expansion Pass, I have every DLC accept Blood & Wine.

No. Do not activate gifts with VPN.

Any opinions on the Castle of Illusion remake?

Brief but very fond memories (of the original) from much younger days ...

It's serviceable. I think it's pretty good, but not excellent. The graphics didn't do it for me, but game is all there and it plays well.

Maybe Steam GAF can help me out as well. I'm looking for a co-op game to play with my friend, who has been asking lately. Trick is, he gets real bad motion sickness from FPS/TPS so all of those games are out. I tried playing Path of Exile and he didn't seem very into it. Also tried to get him to play Civ V with me, didn't work.

Based on that, and the fact that he spends a lot of time playing War Thunder http://store.steampowered.com/app/236390/ (which is not my cup of tea), can anybody make any recommendations? I know that's a challenge. He also played EVE if that helps.
