R.I.P. (Part of) Live From PlayStation: Sony Discontinues Ustream Support

I think one of the best streams I watched was a guy who was doing carpentery. I watched him literally build a chair out of nothing and as someone who does a lot of things like that it was a really informative video even if he wasn't talking much. He did this several times but I haven't seen him stream anything in ages.

Also all the random sex and stuff haha. I remember the guy dressed as Batman doing lines of cocaine.

Yeah Twitch was always quick to ban playroom streams. But ever since they added the "creative" section they've left them alone. People painting and drawing anyway.

We'll see what happens with the migration to YouTube or DM.

Though for some weird reason they don't feel the same as watching streams from Ustream.

Why I always missed shit like this.

The most weirder thing I saw it was just some random dude doing MJ dances.

Rest was boring people staring at their TVs.
 
I also remember cocaine batman

also I saw a lot of breasts

and groups of like 6 people having a party but what they're really doing is just staring at the TV and yelling at comments

or showing butts or banging

Or camera facing tough the window, and the guys where drifting and racing with their cars outside haha.

I've seen allot of crazy stuff in 2 years hahaha...

Yeah, not sure which one I disliked more. Twitch came with better tech/software, but introduced some weird/stupid culture.

Well, now we're going to have to find a new app on PS4 to broadcast sex sessions on.
We'll have to vape elsewhere.

People migrated from livestream to ustream over time, because the latter got better and better until they eventually fucked up in 2010 and people migrated to Justin.tv (it was pretty much an exodus). Ustream was the largest international streaming service for over a year.

The best Ustream PS4 moment I ever saw was these two 40 year old guys trying to skate that had their playstation and camera outside pointed at their homemade halfpipe. They would ride on it for a little bit, attempt a trick, and when they failed they would walk up to their tv, and try to argue with everyone making fun of them in the comments, and head back to the pipe.

RIP Ustream broadcasts!
 
Ustream Playroom was one of the more unique phenomenons. Sucks it's ending. Hopefully Dailymotion allows for the weird shit to continue.

Genuinely saddened that it's going. Had so many laughs watching people devalue themselves for the good of the masses. Way way more entertaining than watching someone play a video game on Twitch.

It's weird that I already feel nostalgic for something created this gen.
