It can't seriously be that bad-

*barf*

I almost feel bad for them, but then I remember all the games they don't bring to PC while still bringing this.

I got a good chuckle though, 12 players online now. That has to be the fastest a multi game has ever died from a major pub.

I've finished Chef Solitaire: USA, which is currently on sale btw
and it was a surprisingly fun golf type solitaire game, layouts were not bad, there are nice little puzzle games randomly activated as you play. I didn't read a word of story, so I can't say how bad it is, just skipped all, but all in all can recommend if you want some chill game in all this heat.
BTW, beating it took me about 20 hours, but I wasn't in a rush, too hot.

Is D4 worth getting? I heard season 2 is being delayed indefinitely.

Well, the story is obviously not finished yet and ends on a giant cliffhanger. But what is there of it, is extremely interesting and entertaining.

Season 2 will most likely release at some point, since its on hold due to health issues of the writer and director, and not due to the bad sales of the first season but there still is a real possiblity that it might never get finished, depending on how many seasons they were initally planning.

So, yea, what is there of the game is absolutely recommended, even more so at that price, but you gotta decide for yourself if you can deal with the waiting for S2 and the eventual risk of never seeing the ending.

What if Umbrella Chronicles flopping removes any chance for further CaPCom ports?
No Okami HD for us. No God Hand. No Breath of Fire collection.
Just because all of us couldn't be arsed to just buy the game?

I'm pretty certain that the game bombed just as much on console.

€: Oh wait, you aren't talking about Umbrella Corps

Anyone have an opinion on Super Mega Baseball as a single player game? I know it gets generally good reviews and that baseball games are hard to come by on the PC. Anyone have a decent amount of time spent with it?

Please, like Capcom was going to port those games anyway. They don't carry nearly the strength of the Resident Evil IP. But more to the point, people shouldn't buy shitty games on the vague hope that other games might come one day.

I've played dozens of hours of this on the XB1. It's actually a really neat game, as the "Ego" system allows you to tweak the difficulty of individual aspects (pitching, batting, fielding) to suit your ability. You can raise the overall ego level or just mess with individual areas. Neat design.

You can play short, medium or long seasons, and each team has specialties (power hitters, defensive demons, etc). You can buy coaches and power-ups for your players throughout the season, and that meta layer is kind of a lite management aspect that keeps things moving.

The actual gameplay is quite entertaining, with cool timing mechanics for the pitches and swings. It reminds me of something like MLB Bobblehead Pros, which I liked a lot.

The computer can get a bit cheap on higher ego levels, as even junk hitters will just start swatting stuff out of the park if it's not a perfect pitch, but anything up to about 75 ego is challenging and fun.

The lack of online play bums me out, but the game is a ton of fun regardless. Buy it!

Cool, thanks a lot for the write up :) It's definitely one of the last couple of games I'm considering as I don't really have anything else like it.

Is there a game I can scratch my Punch-Out itch with? I saw Punch Club but that reads more like a manager game.
And is there a good, cheap tennis game? I missed that [insert Segas tennis series name] when it was dirt cheap before it got removed.

This is a scheduled automated repost on behalf of an anonymous benefactor, who is running this raffle.

Less features than the PS2/Wii versions of MLB Power Pros.
No career mode, just a single season.
No real teams/players.
Only cons I noticed, everything else is peachy.

Anyone else having problems purchasing from Steam right now? Hitting continue after entering my info only ends with the page dying for me.

I bought it in the summer sale. Clocked about 6 hours so far and I'm loving it. Super tight controls and easy to understand. Plays best with a controller so make sure you keep that in mind.

This game was my addiction on the Wii.

Super Mega Baseball looks fun, but the character models are off-putting.

maybe Universe is sending you a message?
steam was slow for me today and I had trouble adding a gift and redeeming keys, might be problems with servers

I am contemplating picking up Bioshock 1 and 2 to get the remasters for free. I played both games on xbox and only own Infinite vanilla on pc. What do I have to buy to get the remasters of part 1 and 2? Are 1 and 2 enough or do I have to buy Minerva's Den as well? I hope I don't have to own the infinite dlc. I don't need more of that.

Was wondering this too. The announcement said that all single player DLC is included in the remasters, so I'm assuming you don't have to own it, just the base games. But not sure?

so anyone happen to want Kentucky Route Zero for $6.50 instead of $12.50 currently?

aka gimme Ghost 1.0 for it lol

How does DLC work for non-Steam versions of games? I have AC Syndicate on Uplay which I got as an extra for my GPU, would I be able to buy the season pass on Steam and apply it to my Uplay version of the game? Is it a game by game basis?

not really, no
you need a base game on steam to buy dlcs

The progression page makes it sound like your team progression carries over from season to season, is that not the case in the PC version?

Yeah I have an Xbone controller that I was planning on using to play it, kb/m for a sports game just seems odd lol

Sometimes it works, but most often it works if you have the base game on steam and then buy the DLC elsewhere (or through the game itself, you can do that with stuff like Dragon Age and Dirt 3). But typically you have to have the same version of base game and dlc. And you can't buy any DLC on Steam if you don't own the base game on Steam.

Having played Hitman Go extensively on mobile I would think it would be much better (and cheaper) to play it that way.

Tennis Elbow & Beast Boxing Turbo

I've played both and it works great with a gamepad, mouse is slightly cumbersome. And don't you have to pay more to get all the content on mobile?

didn't think the price difference was so small I remember getting it on iOS for real cheap at the time anyway.

As for extra content and microtransactions, it's just to unlock levels early and for extra hints so its shit you can easily miss

So I have £20 Steam credit currently burning a hole in my steam wallet.

I was thinking of picking up a few small/cheapish games;

Don't Starve + Maybe some of the DLC.
Life is Strange Episode 1
Crypt of the Necrodancer <-- This one looks funny/bizarre. Some guy on my FL has 190+ hours on it. Is it good?

I was also looking to pick up a local coop game that my girlfriend and I could play. She loves Fallout but isn't too into super hard games. Is easily put off because of her lack of "skill".

Okay I'm done with the sales. I got:

Antichamber
Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons
Hacknet
Oxenfree
Turok
The Talos Principle - Road To Gehenna DLC
The Walking Dead Season 2
Saint's Row: Gat out of Hell
Pony Island

Good sale
