Does it do the same thing if you load Steam in Firefox without Enhanced Steam enabled? Enhanced Steam doesn't change any of your default Steam cookie data, but Valve's server side has been known to be a bit too aggressive with logging some users out constantly when using the browser instead of the Steam client.

No issues when I've got ES disabled. I cleared the ES cache was well, still no luck. Had the very same problem months ago lol. Maybe something on my end.

Are you using the regular Firefox addon (7.3, I believe) or the new beta (8.7)?

I don't recall Dark Souls 2 and now Dark Souls 3 ever appearing on the front page of a Steam Sale. That goes for every sale in the last 2 years for DS2. Wonder why Bamco isnt doing it?

Enhanced Steam has been updated to version 8.7. This release includes the following changes:
  • A huge amount of cache optimization - thanks JoiNNN!
  • Added a crowd-sourcing feature to gather HowLongToBeat data that shows up on store pages
  • Added an option to disable Steam's link filter, but please be careful!
  • User's "In Game" status on profile pages is now a link that takes you to that game's store page
  • Added an option to shorten tags to a single letter in order to save space
  • Added an option to display achievement progress on store pages (was previously not configurable)
  • Updated the look and feel of highlighting and tags, updated default colors to more closely match Steam
  • Updated the look and feel of the Enhanced Steam progress indicator
  • Fixed a bug where activity page highlighting displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug that caused badge completion costs not to show if the user had numbers in their profile ID
  • Fixed a bug that caused WSGF and HLTB data not to display on store pages
This update is available for Google Chrome and should update itself automatically within the next 60 minutes. The beta version of the Firefox extension is now available on firefox.enhancedsteam.com

As always, please let me know if you encounter any issues with this release.

The HLTB stuff alone is fantastic, great work as always

Seems like I need a new mouse. Wheel has totally gone on this thing.

Any good budget options? I liked how the G402 performed, but thought it was really uncomfortable. I palm grip with 2 fingers on the top and felt like my ring finger had nowhere to go, thanks to that weird sudden drop on the right side.

This is what just broke, which is built really badly and has a rubbish sensor, but felt super comfortable:

I just realized I hadn't even crafted the Summer Sale badge yet, lol. Went ahead and crafted one. Now that I think of it, I probably should've just sold the cards.

Not sure if it's the right place to post this, but I have about 10$ in my steam wallet and want to spend it before the summer sale ends.

these are the game I have (plus Undertale and the walking dead), please recommend anything you like and I'll see for myself.

I can see that you have D4, so you are a person with good taste.
May I recommend Way of the Samurai 3? You'd need 2 more dollars, but I can promise you won't regret it.

It's a choose your own adventure action samurai videogame. You have a ton of different endings based on your choices, and the replay value is insane.

What are the chances of getting it after buying the game?

Well, it's just an uncommon emoticon so you have decent chances when crafting the badge, but it's not a certainty. You do need to buy cards or craft booster packs to have enough cards to craft it so you have to invest a bit to take a chance on it.

Sure, I'll check the game and see if I can afford it. Thanks.

Convince me whether I should buy the metro games.

I'm usually harsh on FPS's as most of them I feel do not provide a strong campaign compared to other RPGs/TPS games and I dislike the repetitiveness that they often fall victim to (see Battlefield campaigns).

I care about strong gun play (no pray and spray games like COD please) and a solid story the most along with good pacing.

I've enjoyed Half Life 2, Killzone 2/3, F.E.A.R. and Bioshock (only a few hours in currently) campaigns.

I have a really bad backlog too I probably wouldn't be able to play these for a while.

Pretty bad gameplay (Bioshock has worse though) and annoying moments but the story and pacing are good. You'll probably like them. For me they're wayyyy too scripted to be enjoyable though.

Oh just checked for that game and it's there. But for every other game I tested it's not (Superhot, The Witness, Salt & Sanctuary)

Does the Enhanced Steam progress bar load completely? Are there other ES elements on the page like the performance survey, number of players, etc? I just tested all of those games on my end and it shows up correctly, although the API servers are under heavy load and a few of them took a few seconds to pop in.

First purchase regret of the sale, Thorne.
I wanted a fun action rpgmaker game but I got a very unfun action rpgmaker game. I've liked what I've seen of the story so far but damn the gameplay feels bad, the action part for which I bought it just isn't rewarding or engaging. Even a free game like Eternal Senia made it fun and yet...
There is also a weird aspect of the game: I get stuck everywhere despite there being nothing on the screen which should stop me from moving. Basically invisible barriers everywhere and shit.

Yeah I get red icons on some games. But I reloaded a bunch of games and see the data now. I haven't seen that performance survey and no. of players on any game though.

How are the Telltale The Walking Dead PC port? I remember seeing there were corrupt save and performance problems, but I don't remember if they were console only.

I need to scratch that Life is Strange itch.

That's... really weird. Do you have those sections hidden maybe?

Also, sad news for Firefox users. I asked for an update on this bug that causes steamcommunity pages to not load correctly in the beta. I was hoping this would be fixed when v48 went to stable, but I guess not:

This won't be fixed any time in the next few months.

The only strong thing in Metro is Russian accent.
