Never played any of them other than a quick five minutes so lots of quality to keep me amused.

Ah crap. Completely forgot about Dragon's Dogma for this sale. Anyway, 33% off is nothing much. Hopefully it hits 50% or more by X-mas.

Looking for games to play on my laptop (i5, HD3000 1366x768, 8GB, SSD). I like RPG, turn based combat, but I'm open to any genre really.

I already have:
FTL, Darkest Dungeon, Banner Saga, Baldur's Gate 1/2, Shadowrun.

To the Moon

One of my favorite indie games <3

Do you like JRPG? If so Trails in the Sky is the best on PC. Grandia 2 is worth a check as well.

Trying to decide whether to get kingdoms of amalur. Anyone know if the mid that increases difficulty does a good job?
I just got it and haven't looked in to the mod but on hard it isn't THAT much of a cakewalk, there are still areas that are beyond my level/gear.

It's a solid action rpg with lots of neat ideas.

I refunded Android John despite the price mistake yesterday (or was it?). The game was too poorly explained, and ended up frustrating for the wrong reasons. I went to level 23 and already met way too many frustrating moments.

Yes.

Good game, that is hurt a little by the over use of the Batmobile.

Thank you all! =)

Don't miss 35MM in "Hump Day Bundle" at only $1. https://goo.gl/8akS2w

except its not in the $1 tier >_>

So I bought Way of The Samurai 3 because I felt like slicing some shit up. 10 minutes later, I am killed while slicing vegetables because the old hag I agreed to help decides to throw the odd stone statue at my head. What is this game...

Anyone know of any other games with decent swordplay?

Why did Valve make the marketplace such a pain in the ass. I guess I'm just not going to be able to sell my cards because of all the holds stuff. Ridiculous, why is Steamguard and two step not good enough, instead I need a third step with the mobile authenticator which, last I heard, was a buggy mess.

Not that it even matters right now since I can't even sell my cards before the sale ends due to the 7 day restriction.

Thanks to an anonymous benefactor, I am giving away 3 Steam keys. To enter this giveaway, send a PM to ModBot with any subject line. In the body, copy and paste the entire line from the message below that corresponds to the game you want. (if you include more than one game, you will be blocked from entering). Confused? Watch this GIF tutorial or ask for help.

Eh, I thought the same thing, but took me less than a minute to set up and so far so good. Made $10 and bought more games.

Wow have to say I am amazed how much I am enjoying Hand of Fate.

Combat is awesome, its very similar to shadow of mordor but you actually get weapon diversity with special moves (eg I got a frost sword that is elementally charged and has a special move of creating a cone of cold that freezes enemies)

Obviously the production values are way lower as an indie game. One nice thing too is that its quick and simple to play so you can just play it for 30 mins or so.

Enhanced Steam has been updated to version 8.7. This release includes the following changes:
  • A huge amount of cache optimization - thanks JoiNNN!
  • Added a crowd-sourcing feature to gather HowLongToBeat data that shows up on store pages
  • Added an option to disable Steam's link filter, but please be careful!
  • User's "In Game" status on profile pages is now a link that takes you to that game's store page
  • Added an option to shorten tags to a single letter in order to save space
  • Added an option to display achievement progress on store pages (was previously not configurable)
  • Updated the look and feel of highlighting and tags, updated default colors to more closely match Steam
  • Updated the look and feel of the Enhanced Steam progress indicator
  • Fixed a bug where activity page highlighting displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug that caused badge completion costs not to show if the user had numbers in their profile ID
  • Fixed a bug that caused WSGF and HLTB data not to display on store pages
This update is available for Google Chrome and should update itself automatically within the next 60 minutes. The beta version of the Firefox extension is now available on firefox.enhancedsteam.com

As always, please let me know if you encounter any issues with this release.

Does anyone know if Underrail would run on that laptop? If so, I think that's a game you might want to check out.

Did my last purchases for the sale just now. I made off like a bandit, so much stuff! Thanks to everyone who has been recommending things, lots of good stuff bought and some more saved for winter sale shenanigans!

Enhanced Steam has been updated to version 8.7. This release includes the following changes:

I haven't used ES in a while because I've got a problem with it logging me out of steam in firefox. I decided to try it again just now and still the same issue. Logged in Steam, but if I close the browser, then go back to steam, I'm logged out again. It's annoying.

Thoughts? I know firefox support hasn't been great, but I'm not a fan of Chrome lol.

Does it do the same thing if you load Steam in Firefox without Enhanced Steam enabled? Enhanced Steam doesn't change any of your default Steam cookie data, but Valve's server side has been known to be a bit too aggressive with logging some users out constantly when using the browser instead of the Steam client.
