But... you knowingly bought a phone with absolutely no third party support

And Android users know they bought a phone on a platform that to some degree of regularity or another gets apps later than another platform.

Oh wow, yeah. They just lifted the art

It stands to reason that if they had gotten permission, Sakimichan would have provided them with a watermark-free copy. Not good.
Gonna send her a screen on patreon. She's usually quick to reply and generally nice.

And sent! wonder what she can do? Artists have enough with theft as it is- and while Saki is far from hurting based of patrons, still.

And why would I want them?
Wow this app is fucking sweet. I don't give a shit how uncool it becomes to use. This thing has some great looking filters. Some pics I messed around with from a few backpacking trips and me with my geetar

Never mind iOS vs. Android, it's pretty crazy to me that this tech would come to a free mobile app before being an expensive Photoshop plugin for professionals. Instagram and all the other mobile photo apps got popular because they're free and convenient, not because they did anything truly new. Times have changed...

Its a cloud service - that should be enough to tell you what they have in mind in future.

Naw man, don't you know, we've reached page two, none of that is impressive. Art can only be made by amateur artists, like the ones in this thread. YAWN.

In a mad rush to get this on Android, I downloaded an obvious fake from the Play Store. Fortunately, I'm pretty sure it was harmless. In the meantime, if you wanting to do some quick and easy art on Android, PicsArt is a bunch of fun.

Filters are great and all, but lol... No
It's crazy now but imagine what it could be like 50 years from now. I'm not saying all art will die (not by a long shot lol, anything from your imagination simply cant be replaced by computers) but for certain types of art there could be very complex programs with like 15 adjustable sliders to get the exact type of design you want. Could work very well for, say, graphic design stuff or album artwork. Even wall "paintings" for restaraunts or buildings.

I know Photoshop has some similar filters but they don't seem to be as impressive as this.

If you capture a photo, then run it through this app, do you still retain the rights to said image for commercial use?

They don't take away your rights, but do assert their own.

Already saw this technique used for video, it's pretty cool.

AI at work. Too nad I can't give it my own images to turn them into filters.

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?
These are seriously impressive, I normally hate filters but these are actually very artistic. Will download when it's out for Android.
