I read these emails and just find myself thinking that In the Loop/The Thick of It were both 100% accurate in their portrayal of behind-the-scenes politics.
Putin has been playing footsie with Trump so it shouldn't be unheard of to see that the russian government targeted the DNC in this hack. Wikileaks just acting like an arm of the russian gov't with this leak.
Because there's no story in there, if there was they'd go to the NYTimes or the Washington Post and give them the information to comb through.
Veep is pretty good at that too.
Because just by posting all these hacked emails, they will breed suspicion, even if said emails contain nothing.

I was an intern for the Democratic Party in Louisiana over the past year and it was pretty funny/sad to see how childish people in politics are. All the stories about Veep being extremely realistic held up from what I saw.

That's definitely an angle that would need to be addressed during the primary. If the GOP could stir up a "Bernie is an atheist socialist" narrative during the general, he would have no chance of winning. Asking his faith during a primary is kid's glove stuff. It 100% would have come up eventually at a town hall event or something similar.
Dunno. Seems like the DNC were trying to work with Bernie for a long time but never got a response back until the last possible second and only after much prodding.

They are responsible for the Democratic Party, not any individual candidates. Who do you think they wanted more? Someone who has spent almost 4 decades helping the Democratic Party fund-raise and campaign, or a guy who joined the party just to try and become President? I supported Bernie, but I get why the DNC was borderline hostile towards him. He has made minimal effort throughout his career to help them.
So, guilty until proven innocent.

That still would not excuse any collusion against one of the primary candidates. That's interfering with the democratic process.
Not that I'm saying that's what happened, but there's at least some grounds for suspicion from what we've seen so far.
Nothing in that email is anti-semitic, or even anti-atheist.
Louisiana politics at its finest.
Not excusing the hacker or Wikileaks, but DNC needs to be responsible for its data, like every other organization.
