I believe they stated that they tried to hack both awhile ago and only got into the DNC. I believe this is part 1 of multiple. I expect that we will see a lot more soon.
Glad to see the DNCs top notch cybersecurtiy force was able to tell everyone that no donor information was accessed a few weeks ago. I guess that they were right the donor database wasn't accessed just the emails containing amounts and personal SSNs for Secret Service vetting. NBD.
Two people suggested it in an internal email and then not doing it is now a plot.

There wasn't an elaborate plot that they fucking planed and chose not to execute.
No one did it, though. One guy threw it out there and it didn't go beyond that. It was stupid but nothing came of it.

It doesn't matter that this strategy was never put into effect. This is one of the most prominent officials at the DNC. Even just putting forth the idea of targeting somebody's religion and demonizing them for being Jewish/Athiest is fucking shameful. That shouldn't even be spoken/written, let alone by somebody of power and prominence.

I think the main thing with the Bernie being atheist thing is the DNC had to make sure they covered their bases in case he won, and knowing his religion would help with understanding people who might vote for him. If he's atheist, that might piss off a small minority of democrats in the south, but if you're job is to make sure the Democrats win, you should want to know that info.

I'm wound up because the overwhelmingly majority of people are totally brushing this off as a non-issue, when if the same exact thing were to happen involving the RNC there'd be 20 plus page thread burning them at the stake.
