I thought Americans were still super anti Russia and anti communism.
Ah, the ol' Donald Double Down.
https://www.buzzfeed.com/tarinipart...-this-election?utm_term=.hgERvDyJN#.bsWv50LpZWASHINGTON As Donald Trump calls on Russia to find and expose his Democratic opponent Hillary Clintons emails, congressional Republicans are pushing back and bashing Russias leader Vladamir Putin.
In a statement, Speaker Paul Ryans spokesman Brendan Buck said: Russia is a global menace led by a devious thug. Putin should stay out of this election.
During a press conference Wednesday morning, Trump essentially encouraged cyber espionage against Clinton. Russia, if youre listening, I hope youre able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, he said. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.

"Negr" just means black person in Russian. What an idiot.Absurd and very worrying. In the same presser, he also said that Putin called Obama the n-word because he didn't respect him, but he's sure Putin will respect and like him.
I can't say that I disagree with you.So this guy will be getting privilege access to security briefings? The case is made that he should not.
This. It's not, honestly. It was a very stupid thing to say, but to hear some people defending him you'd think he was running for president of his college's student government association, not president of the United States.
I thought Americans were still super anti Russia and anti communism.
How awesome would it be if NK delivered?

Paul Ryan not coming anywhere close to defending Trump's statement is telling
Or you know, when you're a public facing person, you make sure your messages are received clearly because blunders will make you look bad. You don't formulate something saying "gee, I'll have my internet defense force to explain my joke".Right, but he's not saying he hopes Russia hacks the US govt to get the deleted 30k emails. He's saying if they already hacked them and have them to release them.
is this pedantry and semantics? YES IT IS!!! Trump has done this so many times in the past...media spins and then at the end he's proven right and media has egg on their face
That strategy has worked for him 100 percent of the time so far, so it was worth it for him to try it again I guess. These comments today didn't come out of the blue. They don't exist in a vacuum. People are taking a hard look into Trump's admiration of and Manafort's ties to Russia. He may have thought this was a way to "joke away" this connection, but it'll only intensify.
And if it was a joke? This shit isn't funny anymore. This man is running to be the commander in chief.
Sorry but this is another example of people blowing up something Trump says in a sarcastic manner. You guys do this all the time...something i've noticed for the past year reading political threads about Trump.
I agree with all the posts above. Dumb joke to make but that's all it is. Please stop with the TREASON! STRAP HIM INTO THE CHAIR!!!! type of reactions.
DJT is not a politician...he doesn't know how to speak like one.
This guy is days away from security briefings.
There is no fucking way he isn't going to start leaking shit to the media. He can't keep his fucking mouth shut. He will absolutely try to imply attacks are coming or something all the fucking time.
That's it, we're building a wall around WisconsinPaul Ryan Spokesman: Putin Should Stay Out Of This Election

I don't see the outrage here. Someone who followed it more closely can correct me, but my understanding is that
1) the emails have been long deleted by Clinton attorneys
2) they were deleted after a determination that they were "personal" and not related to any government function
If I were Putin, and I had the emails now, I'd hold on to them (if there's anything there beyond personal stuff) and use them as blackmail against President Hillary Clinton.

He's encouraging the spying of a foreign power on the US for his political gain. That's totally fucked up.I don't see the outrage here. Someone who followed it more closely can correct me, but my understanding is that

Considering his ties to Russia through his own business dealings and through Manafort we don't have the liberty to dismiss this as just a joke or sarcastic remark.
Can you explain as to why you feel his statement should just be dismissed as a joke?Give me a break.
No it's not actual treason. The treason comments are hilarious. Do you really think Russia is just sat around waiting for the Donald's signal to either hack the emails or leak them?
Donald Trump, nominee of the major political party in US, hoped Russia had hacked his rival's email server when she was US Secretary of State.I don't see the outrage here. Someone who followed it more closely can correct me, but my understanding is that

Oh you treasonous son of a bitch. I'm sure his cronies fucking loves this and still plan to vote for him.
This story is on the front page of most news sites now.
Lol well...absolutely no mention on Fox News

MareikeAden @MareikeAden
I asked @realDonaldTrump:"Would you as president want to recognize #Crimea as Russian, lift sanctions?" - "Yes we would be looking at that"
