First off, that dude is just one dude. You won't see that version that he saw, so you will not be biased on that one. Maybe you will like the focus on the Squad more, who knows.

If I watch something the first time, it is the version that is in burnt in my brain, and when another version comes, it feels wrong, most of the time. Wait and see.

I'd hoped Joker would actually be the main villain. I know they always said he was more of a side character but I had hoped that he somehow got involved in the main plot and ended up being the main villain.

The Joker as a character is arguably more popular than Batman himself so I'd be surprised if WB didn't include him as much as possible.

Your oversell here is crazy. It's not like Monster, Jenkins or Theron are household names. Remember, Terrio won an Oscar and one of the major problems thrown at BvS was its script. You can't take one success and decide future success is guaranteed.

Excuse me? They most certainly are. And God knows there's lot that we must thank Terrio for in BvS. That Snyder misinterpreted his script in places is not his fault.

I've always had faith in WW. I think the stars are just aligned for it to be great. It's not a cynical movie at all, it's a labour of love made by people who really care AND it's not trying to be overambitious or quirky or whatever, which seems to be the DCEU problem so far.
