In the ocean no one can see you cry.

Aquaman can.

But he just don't care. Or is Bronson Aquaman? That asshole.

Ahasverus is what I will become if spider-man homecoming is bad

Dude survived three years of MoS shitting and now BvS. With Suicide Squad dropping next week. That BvS thread especially is what made him what he is now. It takes time man, one movie ain't enough. You have to suffer, like we suffered.

The whole point of the Knightmare in BvS was to give Bruce a reason to get the Justice League together. That dream sequence is basically foreshadowing Darkseid and is the threat Bruce is worried about and why he needs help from the other metahumans. It might have been a bad scene but either way it was still needed to be there at some point. The only thing I didn't like was the whole Flash part of it.

Yea but Luthor tells him anyway so the Knightmare wasn't needed. Especially since it confused so many people who aren't familiar with the source material.

It's not needed for BvS though. The "some point" it needs to be in would be Justice League. It can easily be the pre-credits opening, with Batman showing signs of unrest after his encounter with Lex in the prison, and worrying about what is to come.

Yeah, they could've easily bumped the Knightmare to JL. Very odd fit in BvS

You could argue that Superman's death was enough for Batman to decide that he needed to put the JL together. In fact, Knightmare did nothing but instigate and add more fuel to Batman's paranoia about Superman. There's really no reason for Knightmare to exist.

BvS was a glorious trainwreck for a billion reasons and Knightmare was absolutely ~30% of them. I've never seen a sequence so... mystifying. Like I stepped into an alternate dimension and was watching a completely different movie in a different language in a different theater.

If that's what they were going for... they succeeded, I guess.

I still love the movie because it's horrendous in almost every way, shape, and form, it's so bad.

The Knightmare would have been great as the start for Justice League or something. not only we got to see Superman again in a very different light, but could be payed off in the same movie.

Please tell me how its cinematography is horrendous.

If I may move the goalposts a tad, the visual elements of the movie look ugly due to its monotonous color pallet, the worst costume design in a big blockbuster superhero movie, horrible CGI for its big bad and Flash sequence, and poor sense of spatial placement.

Discounting Dawn of the Dead and Guardians, which I haven't seen, BvS is Snyder's second least visually engaging movie (beating Man of Steel, which is even worse than BvS but has none of the redeeming qualities that make it an enjoyable ironic romp). It has its moments (like how he replicated the cover of TDKR) but overall there's so much to dislike about the movie's visuals and I blame it all on Batman. The costume is just trash. Literally worse than the Batman and Robin costume.

The BvS costume is amazing, worse than Batman and Robin is bananas.

I'm really hoping this turns out good because I've enjoyed all the trailers so far.

I THOUGHT WE WERE BROS

BvS is the best looking CBM ever and right up there with the very best this year. It looks gorgeous and the action is fantastic. The costumes were also great, Michael Wilkinson keeps knocking it out of the park. Best Batman costume and even better in JL.

Eh I think the extra armor in JL actually muddies up the suit. I'm not a big fan of incremental changes, you either leave it as is or give him a new suit altogether. It will be interesting to see where they go for the solo film.

SORRY FAM

Clearly Cipher has never seen the Avengers. Talk about bad costume design. I love that movie but damn.
Cap's costume is bad. Like real bad. But Batfleck's costume literally makes me angry.

Doesn't he hate all Marvel movies?
Wait what??? Why would you say that? Where would you get that impression? I'm more critical of Marvel movies but that's because I prefer DC infinitely more. I like Marvel. I LOVE DC. It's always been that way.

I can't possibly hate Winter Soldier, for instance. Movie is amazing.

Yup. It and quite a bit more could easily have been excised out.

the absolute shit posting the filled the BvS thread from both sides was disgusting, and the worst part was a lot of mods were apart of and encouraged it. Really hope whatever the score for suicide squad that, the OT keeps some vague semblance of civility, and at least some attempt is made to quell the trolls on either side.

Watched Assault on Arkham today to gear up for the movie. Really hope the amount of Batman is similar between the two. Need Batman schooling the whole squad in one sequence.

My insider vibes tell me that this is going to be a hit with critics. I'm sensing 90%/8.1 RT.

I recommend you reserve your tickets now and spread the word to everyone you know. Buy extras just in case 2 or 38 close friends decide to tag along. I see this being completely sold out for the next several months.

WB did not pay for this post.

What's it like working for WB? Do you get to meet Yakko, Wakko, and Dot when you start? Do you get free Warner Bros ballcaps?

It's not the mod's fault all y'all fell into Bronson and Duckroll's trap.
