Look what happened withA problem with the episode I have is that the breaking point doesn't seem like that effective of a weapon. Why is shattering so much better than proofing? How would that have made a difference? I mean, those bubbled gems have been there for thousands of years. They're as good as shattered.
Only thing I can think of is that, maybe homeworld was getting the gems that were poofed back somehow and sending them right back to war? I feel like she should have mentioned this to make her argument stronger if so. Right now Bismuth just came across as overly blood thirsty for... some reason
It means more Peridot.
It means more Peridot.
Wow, I wasn't expecting things to turn out that way.
Two things I'm unclear on.
1.How does Garnet's Futurevision work again? Like in last episode, shouldn't she have been able to see that Jasper would attack Steven and Amethyst, and come back? And in this episode, shouldn't she have known about Bismuth coming back as well as Bismuth fighting Steven? I feel like I fundamentally missed/forgot how Futurevision works.
It wasn't funny the third time.![]()
Someone's going to get Bismuth's weapon, aren't they? I'm really worried for the whole gem cast right now.
Look what happened withthe battle against Jasper in "Crack the Whip". Jasper poofed Amethyst, she reformed a few minutes later no worse for wear. Stevonnie poofed one of Jasper's minions, but Jasper picked her up and will be able to use her in any future battle again.
Actually shattering gems means you're permanently depleting the opposing force.
I feel one of the biggest pieces of information from this episode is that Bismuth saidthat Rose was a regular quartz. Which pretty much squashes all the Pink Diamond theories.

Yes and no. I'm more convinced then ever that Rosebutisn't Pink DiamondBismuth's line about how Rose was "grown in earth" seems to contradict basically any time Rose talks to Greg about Earth like its some new place she encountered. She has never sounded like an earth native gem
I'm not a big fan of Plebcomics, but this one is quite... interesting.

The creator of Plebcomics is a girl.edit; guy probably saw that "kill all men" meme thing from like a year ago and thought it was sincere.

I think she said grown in the dirt or something like that. In that she's a normal quartz not that she was gown specifically on Earth since even Bismuth didn't originate from Earth.
