Just got back from a showing. I thought it was decent. It wasn't incredible or anything, but overall it was alright.

Seems like critics were out for blood with this movie for some reason. Maybe because they were hyping it up for so long? I will say just like Batman v Superman, they showed WAY too much of this movie with the previews. WB really has to stop doing that.

Good summer flick.
Feel the same, it wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as the reviews have it out to be.

I couldn't stand how useless every character outside of Diablo seemed. None of them could do anything against Enchantress. These ensemble movies need to do a good job balancing the abilities of the characters and giving each ample time to shine. It was way too one-sided in favor of Deadshot and Harley. Did Croc even do anything outside of grimace and provide a couple of quips?

Croc was fighting those things hand to hand, allowed the last living seal to plant the bomb, and was the only one strong enough to through the bomb to the center of the spell.

Someone cut together a video of all the times Jared responded to questions about the cuts >_< http://la-leto.tumblr.com/post/148598754586/321wecametofuck-la-leto-letosupercut

Saw it Friday with my wife.

We both liked it. And both of us are baffled at the reviews.

It was a popcorn summer flick. The asspull at the end, random music, and cut Joker scenes aside, it was a solid action film with plenty of humor. I enjoyed the characters a lot... They carried the film. Waller especially. She had more screen time than I expected. CCH Pounder needs to watch out.

Will Smith was better than I imagined for Deadshot. Perfect really without being too "Will Smith". Diablo was great too as well as Harley.

My wife and I liked the Joker too. Leto's performance was good enough for us and we went in not expecting Heath Ledger.

Solid 7/10 for us.

I enjoyed it, thought it was pretty fun, almost felt like an R rated movie besides not having blood

And yes Will Smith played that role very well, and Maggie was great, Joker was ok, i'm just glad he did his own Joker and not try to be one from the past movies

I just come back from watching it.

I don't get it, was this supposed to be bad.

I was expecting bvsS,spideman and x movie levels of bad.

Movie was pretty much fun character trapped in a average movie plot mixed with colourful psychedelic visuals.

Not a bad movie it provide some fresh air due it being story about not so good people who are more interesting to watch then Superman, spiderman and wolverine.

movie remind me of "edge of tomorrow" a little.

everyone was cool except for jai courntey Fuck JAI, they should of just cast the captain boomrang from arrow, jai didn't even try to be captain boomrang.

Next one needs to have a much better script.

Will Smith was the biggest surprise. His casting was the only one I hated when I first found out about the movie. Mostly because he is infamous for having an ego and only taking projects that revolve around him as the lead. So it didn't surprise me that the movie was primarily focused on Deadshot, but completely forgot how charismatic he is. Big reason why the movie worked. Also Ike Barinholtz also deserve a MVP award for being a great supporting character.

So everyone's talking about el diablo being a high point but he was more hilarious to me than anything. The scene
where he turned into a flaming Aztec warrior and said "Ya te chingaste buey" had me busting up in the theatre and I was the only one :/ Might be a cultural thing for me.

Saw it midday Sunday with about an 80% full theatre against my better judegment. nd lots of the humor felt flat as there wasn't very many laughs to go around. It was definitely a meh movie. Not horrible but not something I'd watch again as the constant music felt more like a challenge to see how many licensed tracks they could fit into the smallest amount of time possible. Would definitely be interested in a longer cut without all the music and scenes put back in that have been rumored. Movie wasn't good but no where near as bad as I have been reading. Main villain was definitely weak and felt like a throwaway at the end.

Hopefully they'll invest more time into the other characters in the sequel if it gets greenlit.

My theater was laughing during this moment and to be honest it was an awesome moment. I would have loved if he had said I'm going to show you my Aztec Warrior lol.

Saw it. It was ok, not world beating but ok.

Not a 26% and better than BvS for sure but not by much.

Cast had zero chemistry and Joker's inclusion felt extremely disjointed. I really liked the effects for Enchantress tho.

That was the worst/best part of the movie. I couldn't stop laughing at how fucking dumb it was.

Man this movie stank, at least it was fun hate watching it, BvS was both bad and a bore. Just another blockbuster where seemingly everyone working on it forgot what a good movie is.

The 26% rotten rating this movie has is a joke. Ghostbusters is probably the least funny "comedy" of the year and gets a 76%, yet a perfectly servicable action flick is apparently hot garbage. What are reviewers smoking?

Anyway, the movie was certainly better than BvS, but it clearly has a shitload of editing and script problems. So many characters and yet the only ones given any time to develop are Harley and Deadshot, maybe Diablo. Slipknot could have made for a funny joke but he's wasted thanks to having no set up for the punchline, Killer Croc barely has a presence despite being the most intimidating character, Katana really has no reason to be there considering how many faceless mooks are around to back up Rick Flag, and Captain Boomerang... did he even do anything important besides fly a drone that immediately gets shot down? Jared Leto should be glad that he's still in the movie at all, as you could cut every one of Joker's scenes and the plot would be the same.

Still, it's not a bad movie, just average. I will say that I really enjoyed the
Batman cameos, though I would have liked if there was a bit more of him. Seeing him as sort of a villain (in the eyes of the Deadshot and Harley, at least) was a cool change from the norm.

Saw it today, it's a lot more fun than BvS, but has too many negatives for it to be better than BvS imo. I feel like both equal out to be the same levels of bad. Didn't like the villain/ending, editing was awful, the music choices and pacing are all over the place and didn't really feel like they fit in most places.

Action is good, Harley and Deadshot are good in their roles as well, but they kinda feel held back by the other characters and the pacing of the story.

I'm sure there's gonna be a director's cut or whatever, I'd be interested in seeing it for sure. But as it stands in theaters I feel like its got the score it deserves.

It also gave me a headache :/

I liked the movie. It was a good popcorn flick I thought. Enjoyed it for what is was.

That being said, the DCCU is the flashback universe. They started the universe with almost all the characters established and they have to show so many flashbacks in order do a bit of character development.

Wished some of the flashbacks would have been full fledged scenes.

But, the movie was ok for me overall, and I can see myself getting the bluray to play scenes on my home theater setup.

I say it ranges from meh to okaish. :P

Harley and Deadshot were great but because the movie focused too much on them I feel that Boomerang (
though when he left the moment Flag told them they were free was GOLDEN. The fact that he then returned ruined it :/
), Croc and Katana were pointless in the movie. Poor Slipknot didn't even have a presence lol you could blink and miss him >> I loved El Diablo though <3 Didn't like the villain because
having a magical OP character against crazy people with bats as weapons in their FIRST mission seems far fetched for me. She could have killed most of them (specially Harley, Deadshot and Flag) way too easily and she even took down their weapons during the "fight". [/SPOILERS] I didn't like some aspects of the Joker (his growling, his laugh and some parts of his relationship with Harley) but I still want to see him in the future.

Think the critics were a bit harsh on this. I also think it could've been edited better. Joker man, this was a poor portrayal. Feel like he had potential too. I think Leto could act him well with better material and focus

I can't believe that in CURRENT YEAR, people don't know how Rotten tomatoes scores work. It's not a 2.6/10 and Ghostbusters isn't a 7.6/10. All it means is that only 26% of reviewers could recommend a watch. Most reviewers gave it 2.5/5 or 6/10. Get educated and stop making dumb posts like this.

Saw it just about an hour ago. Theater was maybe 1/4 full which was surprising considering the mall was packed.

It wasn't bad but wasn't good either. It had some moments, but the pacing, editing and characters (aside from Deadshot, Quinn and Diablo) were lacking. Things didn't flow well most of the times, and it felt a little boring at times. Lots of the jokes fell flat in my screening, and the last fight was a mess. I couldn't make out half the stuff that was happening during the fight. Also, I felt the music, while very enjoyable, didn't fit some of the scenes and was distracting most of the time.

Margot did a fantastic job as Harley Quinn though. She was the highlight for me.

5/10 from me. Same score I give BvS: UC; BvS was pretty boring for the most part, but the good parts were very enjoyable. SS didn't have any scenes that matched up to BvS' good stuff imo.

I know how RT percentages work, thanks, and my point would clearly still apply even if I didn't.

Can't comment on Ghostbusters as I haven't seen it, but I'd imagine the huge number of bad reviews are due to how messy the movie is. The editing is terrible at times, and it baffles me they released it in the state it's in.

As far as I'm aware, Ghostbusters is at the very least a solid movie, even if you don't personally like it.

That's the thing though, Ghostbusters was equally bad with blatantly poor editing. There are more than a few things left in that movie that make no sense without further context. The big crowd dance number that was clearly supposed to be part of the film but gets awkwardly shuffled to the end credits, the reunion scene between Erin and the other Ghostbusters that isn't set up properly because she never actually leaves the team, the random ghosts from various time periods that were a holdover from when the villan had a completely different motivation, the white hair after coming out of the portal, etc.
