There is a line for signing up. I was able to get a time 30 minutes after I signed up. Sign up line is literally nonexistent right now, so now might be the time.

No, but you don't even need to get there that early. I got in at 9:55 and there were two people in front of me. I got a 10:20 appointment. When I was lining up outside for my scheduled time, there was no one in the signup line. Still barely anyone when I left. You could probably walk over there after this match and sign up if you wanted to and still get in quickly.
