I've tried my hardest to avoid trump threads, but after the khans single handedly took trump out, trump is actually entertaining now... his numbers started to plumet and the RNC has seen a decrease in popularity for the first time in a long time. This is amazing.
 
I am near speechless. With someone who has said more ridiculous things than Chat Bot, this stands out as a watershed moment. How, how can any elected official back him after this? Does he actually have to go and shoot a person on 5th Ave? I know we have been here before, hundreds of times, but this has to be it right? You can't walk that back. Call for the assasination of your rival in US politics? What the absolute fuck. We have to come together as a country and say enough is a enough. Who cares how energetic his supporters are, mother fuckers fought a civil war to keep slavery legal so clearly the amount of people you have backing a horrible idea or person, doesn't make it right. This campaign has to end. This is makes me for the first time in years think, "Thank god my grandpa isn't here to see this." He was a old school conservative and loved the GOP and was very active in politics but he wasn't a fucking hate mongering bigot and would never condone violence rhetoric at this level.

He's not saying anything different or acting differently. He's trying to win with the same strategy that got him where he is.

He just actively called for the assassination of the Democratic candidate for President. And called for it from some of the most vile, ignorant, reactionary people on the planet (aka, his supporters).

Not talking about the Onion specifically, talking about this idea people throw around when they use that picture to say that nothing can end Trump's campaign or that anything he says will help him in the polls. Well, of course it won't end his campaign, there's no way to get him to stop unless he drops out or people choose not to elect him in November.

I'm not American, so not particularly.

Its more disbelief that someone as vile as him has got this far in the race.

Day after day I see numerous disgusting comments by him, and yet he's still there.

I know the only person who can get rid of him at this stage is himself, but it's just such an alien situation for me to see someone so hateful in such a position.

The GOP will create conspiracy theories out of basically nothing, reading EVERYTHING into every word or action, but when their candidate says something that CLEARLY implies or jokes about violence, they insist it's not exactly what it sounds like.
 
So how do 2nd amendment supporters vote for Supreme Court justices after Hillary becomes president? Did I miss that day in school? Is this the 4D chess Pence is talking about? Fuck off with that spin. His comments are as transparent as his micron thick skin.
 
The way his supporters on Twitter, Reddit, FB, etc... are trying to spin this nuclear sized mess but keep failing to convince even themselves.
