Nah, this is just how Trump's mind works. He doesn't give a damn about social norms, and there's something about his view of the world that lowers his threshold for considering the possibility of a Hillary Clinton assassination. It's the same "something" that made him stir up stuff about Obama not being born in the United States, that has had him encouraging violence in the past.
When Trump considers the possibility of another liberal judge being nominated to the Supreme Court, he doesn't think "elections have consequences" or "this is the reason we need to hold onto the Senate" or "we need to pass common sense reforms on a legislative level, or have draconian Supreme Court decisions" or anything along those lines. No, I have no doubt that, for him, assassination is one of the first things that come to mind. "Someone is going to kill her, and while I might prefer that doesn't happen, it might be a natural response to her actions." This is how he views people, and how he views the political process.
