Honest to god: if this were "obviously" just a remark toward supporters of the second amendment to vote against Hillary-- this would have gotten zero attention as just another random remark during a speech. But taken Trump's personality and dictionary of fucked up comments, it's hard for me to see it as anything but what it actually is. That CNN is highlighting it, I think, rather speaks in spades.

If you actually watch the comment being spoken, he does that Trump thing, where, when he knows the amount of shit his forthcoming comment is about to stir-- he has this body language about him. He wasn't unaware, and it blows my mind to think that people truly believe he had any shred of innocence about the statement. Yet that's what people are trying to make me believe, but I'm not buying it.

Also did anyone stop to think that perhaps the Secret Service agents guarding Trump himself would find this personally offensive? It's no secret (pardon the pun) that a Secret Service officers job is to essentially throw himself in front of the person he's protecting to shield them from harm. Trump is basically suggesting that one of their own probably has to die to save Clinton.
