Star Wars: Rogue One Story Trailer

The more I watch this trailer the worse the acting gets

Don't know what planet you people are on, barely seconds long clips out of context and you're acting as if it's Obi Wan and Anakin in an elevator bad. Nothing is Obi Wan and Anakin in an elevator bad apart from Obi Wan and Anakin in an elevator.

Oh and sand is rough and gets everywhere, or, from my point of view the Jedi are evil. Etc.

I think tonally the movie is fighting a real battle and the trailers are reflecting this.

I am fully aroused and you can have all my money, Disney

mood reminds me of Empire Strikes Back, a fight you know you are gonna lose but you try anyways and there is a glimmer of hope at the end

I'm expecting him to do that, but at the very end. Krennic's gonna be the threat for most of the movie, than Vader usurps him right at the very end.

Or alternatively, we see the beginning of Vader's attack on the Tantive IV at the beginning of A New Hope.
It would be cool if he was worried about/scared of Vader getting involved.

Eh it just looks like a fun Star Wars movie and I think overall that's what people expect. Clearly nothing like the main saga, but it's definitely seems to be an offshoot story. Main audiences are going to eat this up.

One thing you can't take away from Edwards is his sense of scale. You feel it in every frame. Please don't fuck with him too much Disney.

That trailer was...alright. Wasn't bad but didn't really make me any more excited for the movie.

I really enjoyed TFA, but not too sure how I feel about this yet. Visually, it looks great at least.

Can't speak to how the film will turn out, but it's crazy how much more visually interesting and diverse this looks compared to TFA.

Really hope they keep it focused rather than expanding the scale too much.

Looks okay but I'm still not a fan of the direction Disney has taken the overall universe. The galaxy is comprised of thousands of different alien species, all persecuted under the Empire and yet you see no sign of them in a major role in trailers for a movie entirely about rebellion. It was just as dumb in The Force Awakens where the biggest role an alien had was a bar keep for 10-15 minutes, "supreme leader" as a hologram for 30 seconds, or fleeting "cameos" in x-wings.

There's rich content/fiction to draw from and it just gets squandered.
