two gamestops fighting for information supremacy.....only one will win......we all lose
The question is did he talk to the manager in the know. Check back next day for the daily XV drama right here on Neogaf!I'm sorry.
Neo patch was mandatory for late-September games, too. They'd have to deliver at least a basic Neo patch anyway.
Man, watch this game slip into early 2017 lmao. Maybe they'll avoid Persona 5 and release it in March 2017.
I never thought I'd see noct so broken lol.
I wouldn't call that confirmed, all of this was a leak, Corporate isn't going to confirm it to some brick and mortar store toady. They'll wait for their agreed-upon date to announce it.

With the prevalence of Day 1 patches one has to think whatever the issue is has to be pretty big for them to actually delay the game. I figured it would release on time and then have a Day 1 patch like almost everything else does. This makes me believe there is something fundamentally gamebreaking that they can't solve in a short amount of time.
They don't need to avoid Persona.
Have you played the demos???!

What's the point of delaying for 2 months? May as well delay for an extra year if you need that extra polish, and then surprise everyone by finishing early and then releasing.
Is Gamescom this weekend?
Well, having that huge event to announce the release day and, generate a ton of hype plus having a big movie releasing next week in select theaters and on digital at the end of the month was supposed to be a sign SE had finally gotten the game in place. But now this...
In really, really bad news, my demo crashed. A lot. In fact, I couldn't complete the game's first chapter due to a bug so crippling that my game hard-locked in a way that kept popping up when my system was restarted. As a result, I'm laying down a bet: if Final Fantasy XV makes its late-September launch date without a constant stream of game-breaking bugs, I will record myself eating... something gross (readers will be able to choose in a poll). That is how confident I am that Final Fantasy XV will not launch both on time and optimized.

Guess I won't be buying Yo-Kai Watch 2 then lmao
Next week, 18-21st.Is Gamescom this weekend?

They can't let it go.Why do you keep posting stuff cut from the game?
He already boasted about it in this thread.
The game is what it is. This would be just be optimization time. Two months is a nice valuable chunk of time for something like that.
What if this new date ends up being when the Neo launches?
Just imagine Tabata having to go the superiors explaining they need to delay the game 2 months. The whole point of bringing him in was to ship this shit from Nomura's sorry ass state.
Hm, I find it hard to picture a mere two-month delay giving them enough time to fix something like that if it wound up carrying over into the final game.

Several big games got delayed this year for extra polishing; Uncharted 4, Mass Effect, etc.
