It could definitely work in some scenarios. It blows my mind nobody has taken him against Timbersaw. He seems perfectly positioned to fuck up Timbersaw--slow him after he timber chains, activate ulti and diabolic, and then stun him and chain slow. Pair that with any other stun and it seems liked a guaranteed kill.

Is embrace or Drow really the problem in those lineups?

besides, you can't laguna blade if your target is disrupted or if you're asleep

considering Drow's aura is doing a lot of work in these matches and is first-ban material yea I'd say Drow is the core of the strategy and thus, the problem.

and you second point is sort of not relevant to the discussion. that applies to every hero picked. nobody can do anything to someone asleep or disrupted. what's your point?

Usually they give the players like half an hour, because the winner of the LB Finals has to play right after, and playing a potential 8 matches back-to-back is pretty brutal.
