I think I'm finally gonna bite the bullet and learn DOTA. Watching in-client has been awesome. Been a while since I played league but I might get back into MOBAs with dota after this.
Kind of considering picking up teh battle pass? but I feel like it's too late for that to be worth it at all.

Unless you're one of those "gotta own every single item available" people, there's no real point in getting the battle pass now since a lot of the challenges and rewards stuff ends by the weekend.
The great thing about Dota 2 is that you genuinely don't need to spend a single cent to gain access to any gameplay affecting stuff. It's definitely one of the best f2p models out there right now. The only difference between an account that spent 1000$ and an account that spent 0$ is the number of hats, nothing else.
Just be like me and be a $0 dota player. If it's going to take up too much of your time, at least it won't take up any of your wallet.
I think you can bite the bullet and PLAY dota.... But I got bad news, it's impossible to learn dota. I'd save your money and not buy the battle pass, just see if your still playing by the next valve major. TI is great, but it's not really a true representation of dota for 90% of the player base.

Yeah it's too late now I'd say thing is going to expire end of August save the money to dive into the next major battlepass maybe and until then you'll probably even know if dota is something you enjoy.
