They needed a hero with better mobility. I think DP would have been great, Necro would have been nice for the ulti, and Windranger is always good.

Hardly. He's not like, modern Visage. The problem is he has to snowball, and sumaiL was horrible on him. He died multiple times early and wasted a ton of time and gold on regen to get useless chip damage on Ursa. Why would you pick a slow melee mid hero against the most lethal melee vs. melee hero in the game?

Pretty sure Fear wouldn't get rapier for that push. Only after seeing BM refused to tp back and managed to get mega creep, they decided to commit getting the throne.

A decent number of tournaments had teams either dropping out or not able to attend, and DC somehow always took their place. So SunsFanning became the defacto meme of some Godfather behind the Dota scene pulling the strings.

Also the video that introduced DC as a team was basically a SunsFan promo for some reason.

I'm pumped for DC, I did not think they were going to win. I loved the rat DOTA tactics tbh. EG going all in for the throne felt like a *huge* mistake. They came back from mega creeps once.. But twice? No one is that lucky. They were too vulnerable because of the split pushing, should've taken racks and went back.
