Yeah, bracket resets only really happen in Fighting Games.

To compensate / give a slight advantage to the Winner's Final team, they have the Loser's Final team play their game the day of Grand Finals.

They once played a bo7 final in China. It went all 7 games. Once and never again.

If I remember correctly it was during a patch that had long average game times too (like 50-70m was common) and it took like 9 or 10 hours from beginning to end.
