It's better formatted on the blog post guys. It should read like this:
The next September update will include:
  • VS CPU Option
  • Daily Targets
    - Daily challenges with Fight Money rewards!
  • Fighter Profile Updates!
  • Free colors for Season Pass holders
    - Colors 3-10 for Default and Battle costumes of the 6 DLC characters
  • Premium costumes will now include colors!
    - Colors 3-10 of the purchased premium costume
  • Color bundles available for purchase via FM or Real Money
    - All 22 Characters’ Default & Story Costumes Color Pack 3-10
  • And more to be announced!

Most of these features should've been available at launch especially Vs CPU.

I'm still waiting for rebindable keys on the PC version.

Finally, we're finally approaching the state the game should have been in at launch.

How do you spend years refining and adding USF4 features, and yet drop the ball so spectacularly with SF5's features!?

Is that really important in light of some of these other improvements?

Yes, native directinput support is actually important

it means I can't just launch the damn game without having to fiddle with shit

using joy2key, if my xbone controller is powered on, then that is joystick 1 and my fightstick is 2

I have my shit configured for joystick 1. Not something I should have to do, it should just work in game.

Also if I want to play 2 player, I have to have 2 controllers connected and my fight stick because of joy2key. the keyboard is player 1, so is the first connected controller. so I have to connect a 2nd controller to force it to differentiate.

Native DirectInput support – this was one of the more consistent requests we’ve received from the PC community. We realize many fans prefer to use their existing PS3/PS4 compatible Arcade Sticks on PC which are DirectInput-based, so we are actively looking into adding this feature in an upcoming patch. In the meantime, players can use popular XInput remapping tools such as the X360CE[www.x360ce.com].

Thanks to Pixelish for the notice.

Hey Street Fighters!

We are back with another developer update blog for Street Fighter V. The big news in August is that we have another update focusing on Rage Quitters to help further reduce the amount of players who disconnect before a match has concluded.

Beyond that, we will be introducing Double Fight Money days along with a slew of additional feature updates in September. We would like to share these details with you today, so hit the jump button to check it out!

SERVER MAINTENANCE

Server maintenance will be performed on 8/16 from 1PM PT to 7PM PT. During this time online features of Street Fighter V will not be available. Thank you for your patience.

AUGUST UPDATE

Rage Quitting Penalty

We are aware of the Rage Quitting issue, and this update will continue our efforts toward resolving it. We will make a second update to the existing Rage Quitting system with stricter guidelines for players who disconnect before the match is over. Players who are penalized will lose League Points and be locked out of online matching for a set time. The update will be implemented after the maintenance on 8/16.

Since the initial Rage Quitting system rollout, we have seen a rapid decrease in rage quitting players, and we believe that this new update will reduce that number even further. That being said, we’re still working on implementing a new, more robust system that will address the issue more completely by early next year.

SEPTEMBER UPDATE PREVIEW:

We have another big update containing new features in the pipeline for next month, so we wanted to give you a sneak preview of all the cool things to come in September!

Double FM Event

Double Fight Money is happening! We appreciate your support for Street Fighter V, so we’re giving you the chance to double your FM earnings in Ranked Match! We will hold our first Double FM Event on the weekend of September 2-4th. Please stay tuned for more details!

Additional Features

The next September update will include:

VS CPU Option

Daily Targets

Daily challenges with Fight Money rewards!

Fighter Profile Updates!

Free colors for Season Pass holders

Colors 3-10 for Default and Battle costumes of the 6 DLC characters

Premium costumes will now include colors!

Colors 3-10 of the purchased premium costume

Color bundles available for purchase via FM or Real Money

All 22 Characters’ Default & Story Costumes Color Pack 3-10

And more to be announced!

That’s all the news we have for you today, but be sure to stay tuned as we have even more detailed info in our next blog. For the latest updates follow us at @StreetFighter on Facebook and Twitter. Until next time!

I'm gonna rebuy the game as soon as I hear they have added this

Looking forward to all of this!
Great that I'll be getting a lot of the colours for free... so I'll be getting all colours for any premium costumes I've bought, correct?

Does 'Fighter Profile Updates' mean that the statistics will finally be working!?

No mention of Urien or any new stages or transitions, I hope those are coming too!

Took the words straight from my mouth.

I'd still like to see them fix survival rather than just allowing us to circumvent it to be honest, but since they're including vs. CPU, at least the people who were screaming for single player battles have somewhere to fight something that hopefully isn't complete garbage or an input-reading god.

It seems like maybe Capcom had the time to fix the core issues with their game now that they're wrapping up the work on the promised season 1 characters, but I would've taken these fixes several months ago even if it meant delaying a character or two. I've completely fallen off this game because there were so many fundamental issues stopping me from enjoying it regarding monetisation and effort vs reward.

I gotta say I love them being more open about what's coming in future updates. Looking forward to these and man, I need to get the season pass already.

Good, substantial update. Capcom is moving at a slow pace but it's better than nothing. Game is getting better.

Just remembered that the last update added new and unfinished stage transition animations. I think more are definitely coming soon

As a person who truly enjoys survival modes in fighting games, they need to fix this SHIT mode.

Inferno difficulty must not be 90 braindead fights then 10 inferno fights. It's a waste of time. Make each mode 20 fights each and all of corresponding difficulty, not the current pointless grind it is.

I don't know if dinput would ever be in the PC release. There is a reason why all the stick companies decided to just have an x-input driver on all their new sticks.

Or at the very least, let us use the points we've accumulated to buy Continues or some kind of checkpoint so we can come back after dying at Round 95 or whatever.

I'm curious as to what colors the Season Pass holders are getting. It would be nice if we could get the EX1 colors Japan had at launch.

This anti-rage quitting system is useless if the player affected doesn't receive his deserved points. The guy rage quitting is probably turning of the console, so whatever for him.

THIS.

The survival takes too much time to complete, and it's really boring. Worst mode ever.
And there is so much wasted time (loading, pre-bout, etc). It takes 1h20 to complete a hell survival that have 41 minutes of gameplay (the game counts the gameplay time). It's insane!

Speaking of RQ and Capcom stating it seeing a decrease, WannaSeeMyKunFu is in #8 in world ranking with Wolfkrone being in the #1 spot.

And there still ignoring the awful netcode.

They should make Survival 5 difficulty levels instead of 4 at 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 with the total current FM and XP payouts divided between those 5. They aren't going to make it not a grind as long as FM is locked behind it.

I'd also let you choose the ability to pick your level of power up always (no RNG'd 3 low health refills in a row), pick multiple power ups per round (each one added raises the price of the next one when purchased for the same round), and adding a Continue power up. V-Gauge needs to store between rounds and it's crazy it doesn't.

They should throw in DLC chars and stages, too. Ideally they'd throw in crazy power-up for everyone where you could buy other characters V-Triggers so you could have auto-Poison Ken or drop a tornado with Karin. The mode also needs crazy boss versions of characters a la Guilty Gear for you to fight every 10 fights. Make the mode actually fun.

I guess Wolfkrone will stop playing now.
Wait...why is that?

They need to force the whole team to play that mode and it'll be fixed in a week. It's so terrible...

Even though SSF2 wasn't my introduction to the series, having a ton of colours for all characters feels like such a staple of the series to me. Give them to me!
