He said something like that in his delay announcement video that went up this past Monday.

If they can actually fix some textures and pop in's that would be great.

Pretty impressive overall. Voice acting is not amazing. Combat looks decent. Soundtrack is nice. Towns look really cool. The game has a nice adventurous feel to it.

The lighting in some areas could be better.
 
I'm halfway through. When i saw that cutscene with the four guys camping i couldn't believe my eyes. What is this? Why are they doing this? Is the whole game about riding a car with these rich kids and fighting monsters every once in a while?
Why do they all have to dress in black??

Besides, is it me or all the main characters and cidney sound bored or sleepy? They have no volume in their voices

Final Fantasy XV™ is a Role-Playing Action Game set to release on PS4/Xbox One. It revolves around Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and friends/bodyguards Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto. They set off on a roadtrip from their crown city Insomnia, a advanced technological city based off real world Japan where everyone from royalty wears primarily black. They're on their way to a wedding until they get news that their city has been overtaken by the evil empire Niflhiem. Noctis & his friends must now go through character development and a lot of grinding in order for him to be able reclaim his throne and become more than just a pompous prince.

Experience this fantasy (based on reality) adventure on Septem......I mean November 29, 2016.

Wasn't a console tech demo. It was more of a DirectX 12 tech demo.

Maybe they feel they've shown everything they can without spoiling too much, and the one trailer we're getting was supposed to be shown @ Gamescom before they decided to delay the game.
 
One trailer before release will be the launch trailer then? Good, keep it that way because I don't want to know anything outside official SE material. I'm not going to click anything in spoilers here because I know there was a "major story leak"
 
We'll probably get more smaller videos throughout the months. Hopefully with the delay they ease up on the exclusivity of the 6th episode for Brotherhood.
 
Do trees look that bad everywhere or just the pushing the car bit? cos i figure you can't go over to those trees in that scene so maybe its just that.

or am i just kidding myself? damn their engine excels in some stuff but others its just..sigh.

After reviewing the footage more I've decided i hate Cidney.. Her stereotype accent is ridiculous and makes me cringe.

Does she have a regional accent in Japanese? Osakan or something?

Would we not have though? One could easily attribute the hugely delayed dev cycle of this game while under him to Square having major engine problems last gen and taking people from the Versus team to work on FFXIV and other troubled projects. And him being removed from the project to SE not wanting his vision anymore after seeing the reception of FFXIII which was split up into multiple parts (like Nomura wanted with XV) and other stuff like Lucis being a nation of reaper worship originally that would've violated the age rating criteria. If he sucked at directing a game and getting it out why would Square Enix put him on a project as important as FFVIIR? I think it's kinda BS to say we would have never seen it.
