Invisibility wont be so bad. McCree is pretty much invisible at the moment. Sits somewhere and pops people till he gets ult then runs somewhere to hide and gets behind everyone to pop ult. What's the difference? lol

all the references to Reaper, Sombra is definitely a member of Blackwatch. Maybe an original Overwatch member.

I really hope it's a new "Villain" type character. It feels like Reaper and Widowmaker are the only deliberately "evil" ones.
Plus Reaper does say "where's Sombra when you need her?"

I guess the biggest thing is:

1. How noticeable is the invisibility? Can you still see a faint outline?

2. Does the invisibility dissapear once they start firing?

I guess the biggest concern I would have is if the ULT did some bullshit super powerful attack move and they could just go invis and then unleash the ULT on unsuspecting fools.

Define evil lol, stealing a kid's lollipop?. I've yet to see a real evil character on Overwatch...

i'm just spitballin' here, but assassinating the leader of a peace movement because it gets your heart rate going seems pretty par-for-the-course, Big E Evil.

Widow only feels alive when she's murdering others.

Pretty cut and dried evil.

But she was originally a normal person turned bad by Talon. It's Zerg Kerrigan all over again. I'm sure Metzen has a redemption story arc planned out for Overwatch 2. :P

How do we know that tho? been playing the game since release and there is no story, just shooting people. Or is this like Destiny where i have to go out of the game and fetch for the story....

Blizzard didn't spend millions making CG shorts for nothing!

I'm very nervous about the idea of invisibility, but if she did have it, I think only being invisible when standing still might work. Movement or getting shot disrupts it.

sombra is an overwatch roomba, you play a third side; an omnic cleaning up during the fights, it's basically viscera cleanup duty

Sombra is a female monkey.
Sombra get cucked! everyone knows Winston is after some Tracer action.

True. Full invisibility and her ult makes you blind. Ultimate troll.

Honestly, so long as she can't instant kill a full health character from stealth it will be fine. That's why nobody likes playing against The Spy in TF2 or something like pre-Nerf Nova or Zeratul in HOTS. Having to maintain ETERNAL VIGILANCE because slipping for one moment gets you blown up with little effort just isn't very fun, from anyone's perspective but the assassin's.

They should take a lesson from Riki in DOTA 2 (yes, cancer, I know). His kit isn't great because it lets him do lots of damage; its great because of how slippery and subversive it lets him be. I'd be down for a stealth character that was more focused on disrupting enemies and being hard to catch than straight up killing people. Maybe let them plant "wards" that let your teammates see people through walls Hanzo style, or disable enemy abilities, or lay traps, or something like that.

If Sombra can be invisible I wonder what abilities and ultimate will work on her? Can Soldier 76 see her during his ultimate or Torbjorn's turret see her at any point? Really curious to see how Blizzard will handle invisibility if she has it.

Widow's ult Infrasight and Hanzo's arrow with the same effect should pick her up and give the team a window to act on trying to take her out.
