It could go up to 23% since 23 is being used in this ARG so much. Getting to 23% in this upload will take the upload 3 days, which coincides with the weekly patch on Tuesday. Announcement on Monday, release on Tues.

I personally think they will release her before the new season starts. It would break the competitive meta game throwing in a new character in the middle of the season just like Ana did. Releasing it on Tuesday will give some time for people to try her out & experiment with her and let the new character kool aid diminish.
Blizzcon isn't until November. You really think they're going to drag this out for another 2+ months? And, if they do, that means she won't be around until Season 3.
I highly doubt it, people would be so mad if they really have to wait for Sombra until november, they have been teasing her for the longest time, if they come out and show a Sombra reveal trailer or whatever i bet there would be a few boo's and people would be anything but happy aka huge backlash, i don't think Blizz would want that.

yeah I'm one of the few crazies who is still "having fun" with the ARG ("" because I aint doing shit but watching and reading lol) but stretching it out to November is just dumb. It doesn't need to happen today, or tomorrow or this weekend...but yeah eventually there needs to be more. November is too far off for anything longterm. Speaking beyond myself, people are already at the end of their rope...and poking the bear further doesn't seem wise.

.0038 * x updates =100%
so 100.0000/.0038 = 26,316 updates
x 3minutes = 78,948 minutes total
or 54 days total before reveal... this doesn't see quite right am I missing something?
of course at 5.6194% we are already
in total it goes up 4.8000% a day unless the timing changes
so we are 1 day / 1/2 into the wait for 100%

Even though I joked about it earlier on the page, I do think that Blizzcon is a bit too far away to be connected with this current event. If they were going to announce Sombra at Blizzcon, they would have waited until mid-October to pull the trigger on the ARG. There is no possible way that they would think the anticipation happening now will carry on for two solid months.

Well unless it was revealed somewhere that it wouldn't be the case I wouldn't be surprised/ expecting a new character and/or map to come out in November or December, after all they need something to reveal at Blizzcon for Overwatch.
The last message from Sombra states she's going to ground for a bit until the heat dies down. So I wouldn't necessarily expect any upgrades to the version number.
However, on Game Detectives:
So maybe those claiming that it'll be revealed at 23%, not 100%, are correct. Or it could be another ruse.
While the idea that Sombra's launch coinciding with season 2 and matching with her number 23 is a good one, I don't think Blizzard will be announcing and releasing a new character the same time the season starts without at least a week or so on the public test realm like Ana had, it's hard to say though. The arg is sort of all over the place.
Maybe they'll reveal her when season 2 starts and release her mid October with a Day of the Dead themed Halloween event?

They could release the character mid season but not make her available in comp play. Only in QP.
