Couldn't even make it DLC pack 2? (Not that I care, having bought the full pack eons ago)

I was worried some of my points would expire with the month change, but it seems that I'm good for now. I'm still waiting for those Kid Icarus shorts though. Sigh. I have a feeling I'll have to get one of the themes by the end of the month. :p

Can't use the rewards, this time around, so glad they extended the Gold Coin options. As a bonus, Shiggy, it's not bad. Seem to recall you being more positive/optimistic in years past than you have been lately. :/

In the past, we didn't have Miitomo. So quite naturally, I was more optimistic about their rewards program. (And with Club Nintendo it wasn't that there was nothing available, things were just expensive. Here there's just nothing to buy with my points - I already bought Pilotwings 3DS, don't own a Wii U, and have no use for the discount codes as the games are still cheaper at retail).
 
At least they added stuff this time. I would be all over Fire Emblem if I didn't already own it.

Time to figure out what I should sink my platinum coins into.

Paper Mario is 40 bucks on the eshop here without tax

15% off will just get it to 34. Then you add sales tax itll be 35.

I'm thinking of using the Yoshi's Story offer but ffs 15% is basically nothing ;\

i'd rather just wait (hope) for a real sale
 
Another month, another disappointment.

I suppose this is what happens when Nintendo rolls out a half-assed loyalty program that was never ready for prime time.
 
Just in case anyone was wondering, I've had some Platinum coins expire (since I got them on 31/03/2016), but the Gold coins are fine since they extended it from 6 months to a year.

Nothing really noteworthy other than the fact that the Point History will not go back further than 6 months, since I can no longer see the coins I got on 31/03/2016.

If anyone has a sizeable amount of Platinum coins and haven't spent them on anything yet like I have, might as well get Twilight Princess Picross before the end of this month.

Edit: Actually, I can't see when I got the Gold Coins now either. So if it's been 6 months since you got Gold coins, good luck figuring out which date they'll expire on!
 
Got the 30% birthday coupon this month. Anyone know what the restrictions are? Does it stack with other coupons? Can't be used on games on sale? Works on DLC?

I'm thinking about getting the discounted Fire Emblem Fates DLC.

Yes, it did drop when they did the amiibo bundle, I believe. Excellent game if you liked the 3DW Captain Toad levels, the only flaw is some camera problems IMO.
 
Hmm, theres actually quite a few titles there that I'd like to get. Dr. Mario on portable would be fun, and SF643D for $28 is the best deal the game's been for a while. I don't recall it ever being on sale in the past year.
 
There is literally nothing i can buy for my 2DS with Gold Coins, which I have 260 of and more when DQVII releases. That's just frustrating. Of course they are worth something for 12 month. But still.
 
I decided to redeem Zelda Picross since nothing else seems to be added. Noticed the new 3ds eshop music when I redeemed it.

My brother had a birthday in July and didn't get one and now it's been my birthday this week and I too don't have one...

Mine was last month and I don't recall getting anything, save maybe some coins. Definitely no discount cos I'd have used it. :P

It's a $40 game, so you'd save around $12. And conveniently, the physical retails seems to be out of print.

I don't buy enough digital to rack up that many gold coins. Blowing through all of them so that I can spend more money on a game I had no intentions of purchasing soon doesn't feel like a good choice. It would have been so much better if they managed this like the digital deluxe program, but alas. I'll be spending my gold on VC games for now.

The Points History page has now been updated to show when points will expire. We kind of suspected it since no points expired at the beginning of this month, but it's now confirmed that points expire at the end of the sixth month. For example, points earned in the month of April will expire on October 30. I believe the points due to expire September 30 are any points earned on the first day of the service, March 31.

This is nice, much better than CN, they even show you expiring points three months in advance.
