Animations look fine to me for the most part. The double jump reminds me of how Kratos jumps. Very video gamey and I don't mind it one bit.

Like they said in the vid. Semi open world. Nothing like Skyrim or some sorts but its also not a on rails level after level shooter.
I am still confused to how this cross platform thing works.
I don't have an xbox one - its £22 on Xbox versus £30 on Windows 10 store. I guess I can't do anything as I'll need an xbox to get the Windows version free.

Buy it digitally from the store (Xbox or pc, it's the same store) and you can play on Xbox one or pc.
Or buy it physically for Xbox one only

Have you got an Xbox gamertag? If not then create one and buy digital copies of Xbone play anywhere titles if they're cheaper.
Redeem the code (if you get it from amazon or another seller) on Xbox.com or using the Xbox app on windows 10.
Remember that from now on it looks like play anywhere titles will be synced to your Xbox/windows account rather than using a separate PC code.
The £22 is physical. For the play anywhere edition you need digital which is £30. Do no difference I'm price if you're wanting it on pc.
If you buy it physical:
From £22, Xbox one only
If you buy it digital:
£30, can play on Win10 and/or Xbox one

I think it's that fine line that Zelda rides between being open world and being a very detailed hub.

Same feelings here.
I see they've improved the jump animation, which was one of the primary reasons the game looked so unpolished before. Still need to improve the frame rate though.
The outside area's look much more appealing too - finally seeing some of the purported Metroid Prime influence. As long as most of the game takes place in these lively environments as opposed to the boring indoor sections we've seen before, this game could be actually something I want to play.

It's $40 + $10 Xbox credit at the Microsoft store for a physical copy, or $40 +$15 Xbox credit if you're part of Xbox rewards. Just a heads up if you want the best deal.

The animation still looks extremely jittery, in a way that you can sorta imagine how it could feel equally jittery. But you never know with animation in games. For all intents and purposes, Batman, Assassin's Creed and GTA look incredibly fluid, and they're all like wading through syrup.
Bionic Commando also had sorta iffy animation, but you forget about it pretty quickly because it still felt solid to play. Fingers crossed here, because it has enough work to do in terms of structure to be a good game. It would be heartbreaking if its structure is great and it just feels like a spazzy mess to play.

Lol yeah that part had me dying. I'd expect the game to be around 8 hours, developers like to overstate length a lot.
The exploring will be cool I think, and I like the the dog having the ability to search certain areas. From what I heard, each bot will have a unique ability outside of combat.
Interesting. I'll have to think about that since apparently they offer release day shipping, too.

Get physical, the box art is too good to miss. Unless you're planning on using the play anywhere thing.

awesome game, will definitely pick it up, later this year, but I will focus my time on Gears 4 that is coming out next month
