Fox News reporter: Hillary Clinton left 9/11 ceremony with 'medical episode'

Ugh, stay strong H. Trump winning because of Hillary getting sick would truly be the worst scenario. That I can think of right now.

Old woman has health issues at hot crowd gathering, news at 11.

I swear americans want their (old, very very old) presidents to be fucking Superman.

Two Presidential candidates pushing their mid seventies after their first full term was never an optimal situation.

Same with Bernie, would be 80 if he got elected.

This.

I'd say chances are that our next president will have some kind of health issues. We all know about Reagan now and he was about the same age as Trump/Hillary. But maybe not?

By contrast, Obama is just now 55 so the next president certainly won't be as youthful.

Pleasant morning :)

Yet again a bunch of people overcompensate on defending Hilary simply because Trump is on the other side. She's not healthy. Does that mean she can't be president? Not really. But it's better to own it than deflect.

Obama aged hard too and he's a pretty healthy dude--smoking habit notwitstanding. Dat Presidential stress.

82 and 40% humidity is hot. It's really not crazy. She just needs to get back out there now.

edit: Are you people all from Havana? 80 is hot.
80 and 40% is pretty cool because it's dry. But I can understand it being pretty hot with all the formal attire they're probably wearing.

a grandmother felt a bit overheated during an 80 degree 40% humidity day while standing outside not moving for a while? welp I guess I better vote for the bigoted war hungry oompa loompa from hell /s
Like others are saying, it's not that hot or humid in NYC today. It's a really nice day.

Let's wait for more information and hope it's nothing serious. Don't want to see her campaign completely ignore it or let it linger, just having her come out and joke about it would go a long way towards putting it aside. As it stands the current statement and air of uncertainty will only fuel the rumblings that something's being hidden from the public.

Maybe we'd just prefer them to be healthy enough to do the job, regardless of age. Both candidates are uncomfortably old IMO.

They do. And it's not only Americans. It's also Russians, North Koreans, and citizens of any country that have been indoctrinated with nationalism since birth.

What information do you have that she is not healthy? There is no proof at all.

What are you basing that on?

the fox reporter, the nbc witnesses, and the fact that the campaign statement didn't use any language like "she stepped out" to at least imply that she didn't faint, but instead went with the vague "overheated" statement.

i would bet that she did in fact faint but i hope she didn't.

Well if she's seen as weak or sick, she will lose.

Yes, that I understand. Can she really be seen as weak or sick in the sense of not being fit to run the country, because of this?

Until further notice, this doesn't seem a particular bad case for her. Overheating is a fairly common issue with both men and women from what I know. And it's not like she is going to work on a furnace or something.

Not a good look after the polls have tightened. This makes me sad.

*Sigh*

People keep talking about the polls tightening, but fail to realize we're talking national polls that are notoriously manipulative. The actual electorate polling has not tightened all that much in a month's time. The fact that people think this conspiracy theory driven drivel is going to swing anything just because Hillary left a memorial due to heat exhaustion is crazy. Did think all that Muslim conspiracy theory shit was going to sink Obama? The alt-right will eat it up, with the 'normal' right harping on, but anyone soft-leaning right, moderate or left-leaning at all will just roll their eyes.

Haha. No.
It isn't hot. That's fall weather.

I wouldn't expect a woman such as herself from NY and who has traveled extensively to consider that fainting weather.

I can see it being possible the stress of the campaign is catching up to her.

Dat inside scoop

Then you shouldn't be electing anyone over 55 for office. 60+ y.o are going to have plenty of issues.

Still, many great world leaders have been old and ill.

Standing up in general causes blood to pool in your legs, young soldiers standing at attention for long periods of time faint all the time. It's extremely common and normal. You also don't know what she was wearing on the heat etc, but heat doesnt have to play a factor

Basicaly, speculating in any way is silly, and her health should be left alone to her doctors

Yes she can, because of this:
This cannot be emphasized enough. The Swiftboating began awhile ago about her health with our bullshit. Now with an actual event the general public won't know the difference between the conspiracy shit to the actual shit. It'll just be mountains of health related crap feeding their Twitter or Facebook.

Worst attack on American soil. Check.
Biggest financial crisis since The Great Depression. Check.
Unnecessary war that destabilized the Middle East. Check.
Worst ever. Arguably.

But back to your regularly scheduled thread.
Of the three things you listed only one was directly precipitated by Bush. Meanwhile, there are 18 Presidents who were unapologetic slave owners. Among them was Andrew Jackson, who killed a man for speaking ill of his wife and participated in genocide. There is absolutely nothing arguable about the claim that Bush is the worst President in American History. It's outright false and trivializes the long list of horrific acts by Presidents born in eras that did not instill them with the values George W. Bush and any modern American would presumably have.

You lack historical perspective.

If Hillary faints at the podium during the debate it is all over, right?

Trump: "We need to negotiate the debate temperature....."

I don't see why this is an issue. Let's say she really has health issues and can't finish a term or two, so what? Tim Kaine seems like a perfectly fine president. It's not like she picked Sarah Palin or Mike Pence.

Haha. No.

It's been about that hot and humid in Chicago lately and I feel like dying. Make it stop already.

"What if she "overheats" and leaves in the middle of talks with the Russians/Syria/etc.?" - will be the line of attack from now on, furthering the narrative that she is too weak/sick to be president.

I honestly think Hillary pushes way too hard and it's catching up to her.

Anyone who's followed her career is aware the crazy energy she expends. This has been documented widely.

You're 68, Hillary. I know you're running for President, but learn to pace yourself.

Look at the VPs. If this is true (which it appears to be, and honestly I think the earlier stuff was hand-waved too much) Kaine is a very qualified, pragmatic candidate.

Then you have Trump and Mike Huckabee's twin brother.
