1.0/2.0/3.0 are a different continuity from what came before.

Shin Godzilla is proof that Anno's heart is no longer in Eva. The difference in quality between 3.0 and Godzilla is amazing. When he's on form, he's still fucking on form. Hopefully after getting a dream project out of his system, he has a fresh outlook for 4.0 and doesn't disappoint...

Rebuild is definitely a sequel to Evangelion Manga which is a sequel to OG Evangelion.

Evangelion is same concept as Battlestar Galatica, with small notes of evidence of previous generations in each new cycle.

Evangelion is way too tied to where he was at a specific point in his life. Rebuild was never going to entirely work.

The first movie was a remake, the second movie was fan service, the third movie was the switcheroo, so maybe the fourth movie will be his personal resolution where he can put it to rest.

Not being from the states I can't say exactly but I would have assumed that like Australia Blu-Rei would be the easiest option.

Failing that, purchasing the BD/DVD from Amazon UK would be the next easiest.

Wow!!! So good. The identity of this song and the movie are inseparable because they both contain so much beauty with feelings of desolation.
Also it's nice to get a little effort put into something Evangelion related after so many years(that's not some weird Godzilla X Evangelion crossover merchandise).

That's really frustrating when you consider that the last part of the movie was cut. I wonder if they'll end up using that material somewhere else than a video clip.
