Love watching your reviews. Also just seen you have new HDR primer. Will watch this right after the FH3 review

In Horizon 2 the real meat was hidden away in the Bucket Lists. Some of them are legitimately difficult, and they are usually a blast to do in Co-op.The ib times review is interesting. While I think they are being incredibly hyperbolic, there seems to be a similar criticism for horizon 3 as I had for horizon 2.
It felt more like like a Gumball3000 simulator than a racing game.
I'm sure for 95% of people this will not be a problem, but as I've said before in forza threads, there is a distinct lack of satisfaction when you win a race. It's almost as if the racing is just part of the story, and the objective is actually to enjoy the festival.
I'm still going to get horizon 3 and accept it for what it is, but I'm glad I'm not the only person to notice this.
Slayven tier? Does Slay talk like Mike Tyson or something?
Just curious. If a game has absolutely no Cons. Nothing negative about it whatsoever, how can it not be a 10. Genuinely curious. A game with no negatives by definition has no flaws, therefore is flawless.
Nonetheless, it looks like an amazing game and I think I'm sold.
My favorite so far.
CNET - Translation: Crikey! It's a corker! Fair dinkum, it's a bloody ripper, mate!
2/5 from our reviewer, says it feels like Playground Games is getting bored of making racing games

Turn10 are going to have to step up their game. Horizon is quickly becoming the best game of the franchise. Here's to an amazing FM7 too!
Congratulations Playground <3
And what happens when some of the guys get sick of creating FH games (if they aren't already)? Can't buy talent.
So cup of coffee ready. Time to fire up Karak his review.![]()

I don't know if there will be something that makes it a con yet since I'm only about 15 hours in, for in progress reviews I tend to be a little bit conservative, but if it keeps the same stride till the end, then yeah I can see myself giving it a 10.
It's like the current Bethesda & Obsidian Entertainment situation. Bethesda developes the mainline Fallout games, Obsidian Entertainment makes the better games.

Enjoy lol. Or not.
Thanks as always Sir.
Hope to see you in Forza as I will be living in it for a couple days lol
This is going to hang at 89 MC, which is sad. .
I'ma need a translation for that translation...
Probably the same as the folks who get bored making Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Gran Turismo, MLB, God of War, or annual sports games. They move on. /shrugs

This is going to hang at 89 MC, which is sad. People that don't like racing games shouldn't review them.
Pumped anyway, preordered Play Anywhere deluxe weeks ago.
i love how weird these threads get when there's one bad score.
90 on meta is still very doable, there is a lot of 9 and 9.5 and some 10s out there
Well doesn't he sound like a treat.
Jesus, it's getting great reviews.
Just watched the IGN review... I Love what they're doing with custom soundtracks from Groove music. I want more games to do this and I'll sign up for Groove music.
Basically, if you have your groove music playing, then it integrates with the game as if it's coming from in-game audio, and so as you drive into festival locations, the sound shifts to sound like it's coming from the festival speakers and other things like that.
I wish GTA V had a feature like that, where one of the stations was your Groove music station. I'd immediately sign up to groove if it had it... And I say this having already subscribed to Google Music.
What hurt more than the constant sense of déjà vu, was that I was constantly running into technical issues. I expected some pop-in from Forza Horizon 3, as I was driving at crazy fast speeds and Horizon 2 had issues with it, but its so much worse here. I was constantly seeing details in the environment appear as I got close to them, and it got distracting at a point. Horizon 3s art is top-notch, but its performance isnt. I also ran into some crazy issues with the shadowing system where the games shadows would constantly jump all over the screen despite my car not moving, and a few instances where the frame rate took a dip. I cant speak to how the game runs on PC, but it certainly felt like I was playing a sub-par console port of a really pretty game which is probably not the sort of thing Microsoft really wants to go for with its Play Anywhere campaign out in full force.
IBtimes reviewer spotted.Good review.
FH2 rubbed me like this as well.
Certainly is his opinion, but he is judging the game on things that aren't there by design, the fact that it has little 'focus' or let's you do whatever is a big part of the game.
The fact that he basically highlights that it isn't Dirt Rally is a big alarm bell, simply because the two games, despite both being racing games, are very, very different, one is a tight simulation with strict progression, the other is an open world, do what you want game with freeform progression.
