Well somebody has to defend the police in America. If not him, then who?
Now that the Massachusetts high court has abandoned them
Well somebody has to defend the police in America. If not him, then who?
You get a clear picture of who shows up to these protests equipped and prepared to start shit.
Well somebody has to defend the police in America. If not him, then who?
You mean one side shows up with signs, the other with armor, batons, and guns.
But one side is clearly there to start a riot.
The injustice never ends, flat out depressing that I'll never ask the police for help again, out of fear for my life(a real one)
Not all dude, some.Man, fuck the police.
There's not even close to same amount of cops as Muslims and don't have DoJ reports coming out saying entrenched in racism after every investigation nor are they paid public servants from local and state.that's an irrational fear considering 99% of black people interact with cops and don't get shot at all. That's like saying you fear muslims because some are terrorists that kill people.
and was just waiting on his son to be dropped off after school.
Im defending the police by quoting an article and a statement from the guy brother? ok!!!
Im out.
Now that the Massachusetts high court has abandoned them
Not all dude, some.
Am I wrong in assuming that an officer is never to shoot first even if there is a person pointing a gun at them?
Also, when a cop does shoot somebody, why not aim for the leg? And or why not only one shot fired? I've seen cops shoot people (and those people turned out to be unarmed) and every cop started shooting till seemingly everyone emptied their clip. Really? Are they trained to when the first shot is fired not to stop till the magazine is emptied? They look like sissy rookies instead of trained officers.
It is extra infuriating when a person that is in handcuffs gets shot. HOW CAN THAT BE OKAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES?!
Book = gun
Phone = gun
Pencil = gun
Kid with toy = gun
T-Shirt = gun under t-shirt
Hands down = reaching for gun
Hands up = threatening position
Black folk could go out completely naked and cops would still see guns in their hands.
They wear racist glasses that let every black person appear like a threat.
Officer being black doesn't make it not a racist act. They're all trained the same and take in and uphold the same toxic culture.
Also, when a cop does shoot somebody, why not aim for the leg?
Even the good ones? That blanket statement. We as blacks should know about that blanket statement.Fuck the police.
First off, please don't compare cops to race/religion. Second, if that's irrational, then fuck it, let me be irrational, black people have been killed for less(one couple was killed, sleeping in their car iirc, another was shot even though he was on the ground complying). The fact that I might end up a corpse on the ground because a cop might have a pre-conceived notion about me because of this institutionalized racism is fucking scary alright?that's an irrational fear considering 99% of black people interact with cops and don't get shot at all. That's like saying you fear muslims because some are terrorists that kill people.
What kind of book looks like a gun?
Even the good ones? That blanket statement. We as blacks should know about that blanket statement.
Am I saying this is right? Hell no, but I'm not going to say all of them because that's a Trump.

Jesus! You know, I'm alright. You have that right to think that way.You make a choice to become a police officer. Stop making this comparison.

What?
They're shooting us, defending those that shoot us, stalling in internal affairs to protect them, asking for more toys to kill us and claiming they protect us.Even the good ones? That blanket statement. We as blacks should know about that blanket statement.

Not all dude, some.
Depending on the circumstances, calling the cops can yes, escalate the situation, but let's not waste time arguing about all the hypotheticals about that. But yes, until I see some change, I'm just gonna take my chances protecting myselfScarier than if you are in real danger from someone trying to harm/assault you that you would be afraid of calling for help? Or if you saw someone else being assaulted would you say "no i'm not calling the cops, i'm afraid of them".
You're saying that you are more fearful of a chance that a cop is a bad one, than the certainty of whatever threat you are facing at the moment that would make you think about needing help.
Fuck the police.

What an apt picture of the police.
