An inside peek into what Brady has been up to.

Fire the special teams coaches asap

We have always had bad special teams, but I don't think I have ever seen one like tonights that truly destroyed us. The warning signs had kinda been there in the first two games with the stupid risky plays.

trade watt for 3 first rounders and burn it all down tbh

At what point does the fact that the Pats can win with basically any QB start to taint the legacy of the great Tom Brady?

To reasonable people, don't think it matters much. With Brady, the Patriots win and have a top offense in the league. With another QB, the Patriots win but have a conservative, field position offense.

To people who hate the Patriots or Brady, it will mean everything. But in the same way that even a few months out, nobody remembers that Peyton Manning was the worst starting QB in the NFL last season. People remember that he was a Super Bowl winning QB for the best team in the NFL.

Ryan Allen is the hidden MVP here.

Just special team in general but yeah he was great. So many games are decided by field position battle. A big reason the rams beat Seattle last week was because almost every Seahawks drive started inside their 20

Tom negates the system qb mantra when he finally got a deep threat and clowned the entire league and made people cry. Can't be a system qb by running the best offense in the history of the NFL in my opinion.

Not everyone.

Brady played for the Broncos in 2013?

Ugh fuck that team. National Bubble Screen and Pick Play League.

That Seahawks/Broncos SB was one of my all-time favorite games the Giants weren't in. Just pure validation from start to finish.

These backup QB and the Pats winning will forever diminish the value of Brady. 14-5 over the last 19 games he has missed.

One step above a donkey.

No, with a rookie third stringer they had those conservative aspects. They really were not conservative in weeks 1 and 2.
Brady is one of the best of all time, but plug Roethlisburger, Eli, Brees into that offense being properly coached up and they would equally slay.

There's something to be said for brilliant coaching that elevates mediocre talent and consistency of coaching that keeps the successful system in place so that even third string scrubs can fill the vital roles necessary to be a top team year after year. They WILL have a strong QB plugged in as soon as Brady announces his retirement because this team plans ahead and prepares.

At least week 2, yeah. Week 1 I don't think that Garoppolo threw many passes longer than 5 yards... Think I heard a stat on it that he only had 1 pass in the air longer than 7 yards. But that was also against arguably the best preseason defense in the NFL.

Last week they definitely opened it up.

But, long term, it doesn't matter. Nobody will remember that except people who have an ax to grind against Brady, and for them, these 3 games and the 11-5 Cassle year will be the hill to die on.

Plus, every QB is a system QB. There hasn't been a successful QB in the last 20 years who didn't have a system made for him. Meanwhile, there are dozens of talented QBs who had a bad system around them and failed.

You guys laugh but the Texans are still probabaly a top 6 team in the AFC and will cakewalk their division into the playoffs

AFC isn't what it used to be

To be fair, the AFC East has probably become the leagues least competitive division in modern times. Jets, Bills and Dolphins often show up versus the Pats, but their record against others is still pretty below mediocrity.

Pats have nothing more to complain about from this point forward. Injuries, scratches, replacements, whatever. Y'all have been taken care of for the next 20 fucking years. Nothing to worry about ever again.

I think Watt is obviously hurt this year, but even healthy, other teams in the NFL need to look to see what Belichick does to Watt. Since 2012, Watt has averaged over 1 sack per game, yet in 5 games against New England, he's never recorded a sack and has been a non-entity in every Houston vs. Patriots game. And the Patriots have had one of the worst offensive lines over the same period too... Gotta figure out it out.

Well, yeah, plug 3 Hall of Fame QBs onto the Patriots, have the run the Patriots offense, and sure, of course they'll have success. They're 3 of the top QBs in NFL history...?

You know nothing about bad OLs.

If you moved the whole fucking team with the exception of Bill, they would somehow suck though.

I don't know man.

I just...don't.....know.
