I hearby declare an alliance between the Vikings and Eagles.

Soon the league and its fans will grow tired of our revolution and these two teams will have none besides each other to rely on.

"Fuck the packers! Fuck the Cowboys!"

"QB cousins till we die!"

I look forward to Godford vs. Fresh Wentz in the NFC championship game.

You should be very concerned with how terribly the line is playing.

If Boone had the right blocking assignment in the slightest, that sack on our expensive football throwing fabrage egg wouldn't have happened.

Look how he just lets the DT go past only to stand around looking like a lost 6'8'' puppy.

True that, the O-Line is a big concern, I have to think they will shape up at some point.

Hopefully before the Eagles game.
Or next year.

That Vikings v Eagles game could conceivably be between two undefeated teams. That trade might be a rare win-win

Just looked - Eagles play @ Lions and then @ Washington Slurs.

Eagles could be 5-0 but then again after beating the Steelers and now a bye week, I bet they drop one of the 2.

I love Wentz so much, wish the Vikes were in a position last year to get him.

This is coming from a staunch Teddy supporter who still has high hopes for him.

I do live in Minnesota though and have had pretty big NDSU exposure though.

It's 10:13 AM Eastern Standard Time on the 26th day of the 9th month in the year of our lord 2016 and

Michael Oher is still employed as an offensive tackle in the National Football League.

This is the worst.

Also Mike Shula completely cutting the best receiver on the team out of the playbook yesterday was a joke.

Yeah, I could see that, but neither of them are particularly scary. I agree with you on a gut feeling, but I'm running out of reasons to be nervous. It's not like some of the big ones of the last few years where there was some flukey D/ST shenanigans to get the wins. These were all just sound beatings where the team is just playing all-around great football. There's nothing in the way Wentz is playing that makes me think this is a passing fad. He's just doing everything right.

And credit to Doug, he has done a phenomenal job these first 3 weeks. Schwartz has been outstanding but we somewhat expected it, and this is what we wanted Wentz to eventually be, but didn't expect it to happen so soon. But Doug was the safe, bland backup option that no one wanted as a HC. He was just a puppet for Howie and Laurie. And he's been one of the best coaches in the league so far. I'm believing this is a playoff team now, and I really haven't completely processed this.

Bucs play Denver and Carolina next, 1-4 here we come. The good news is they can bounce back with a string of mediocre teams- 49ers, Raiders, Falcons Bears. They could 5-4. Who am I kidding they might win 4 games this season.

Even though it is early, Carolina is not really looking so hot. They make lots of stupid mistakes to lose games/keep other teams in games.

Shula also still takes forever to get plays in, so your D can tee up to rush once the play clock reaches 1 second.

I have no idea what to expect out of the Saints today. I only know for the past couple of years they have been back to their historical self so every game will be a close game as we will play to the level of our competition.

Our defense has looked great for 7 out of 8 quarters, but man that one quarter was amazingly bad. Also injuries to the secondary are going to take their toll. I don't know what to expect.

Our offense has been great one game and bad another. Probably because the Raiders defense is worse than expected and giants defense is pretty good, at least against a passing offense that focuses on traditional wide receivers with a bad TE and a bad running game.

I still hesitate to playoffs. I think Giants win the division still but the Eagles will compete for a wildcard.

I also want to say the WRs are making more plays. Helps that Wentz is accurate but I see more out of Agholor already than we saw all last season. DBG needs to be more involved because he is a huge target.

All the WRs and TE Ertz are in their 1st. 2nd, or 3rd seasons. Young nucleus to grow together hopefully. Ryan Mathews and Sproles are gone after this season (I believe) and Barner and Smallwood already look more explosive than both.

Now they need to infuse youth on the OLINE and they might be pretty set on offense for the next 3-5 seasons.

I think i need to move to Colorado (Denver area) so I don't feel so dirty being a huge Broncos fan and living in College Station.

The orange and blue have been my team since Elway save for a brief stint of the Manning lead Colts. Manning to the Broncos was a dream come true and Von being there will keep me loyal. If only they could find a way to draft Myles Garrett, man, that would be great. I can hold out some hope that Daeshawn Hall or Josh Reynolds goes there at least.

edit, Kubiak is great Ag too!

Jealous of Eagles fans.

I remember what it was like when we got Ben and he was young and I just knew that he was going to get us back to the SB.

Its a lot of fun to have a franchise qb and watch him grow for those first few years.

Sorry, I can't root for the Vikings. I'm greedy and I want a higher first round pick.

Man I feel like the Steelers coaches are not very good after seeing that game yesterday. Mills gave up like 3 big plays the first 2 drives and then they barely challenged him again. Also they didnt want to blitz Wentz because he had handled it so well the first 2 weeks, so instead they drop 6 into coverage and he picked them apart all game. Seems like they should have at least try to switch stuff up after the first few drives when it was clear that Wentz will find someone open if given enough time.

They did not coach a good game but I would not read too much into it.

Literally everything the Eagles did worked yesterday. If your execution is on that level whatever play you call is going to work.

The Steelers were on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Thank God Bell is coming back next week. Hopefully Wheaton comes back next week too.

Hopefully we will get our all PA super bowl in another year or two. Wentz vs. Big Ben would be a great story.

New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick landed on PFF’s Team of the Week for his excellent performance in Week 2 in a Thursday night win over the Buffalo Bills, but he followed that up with a six-interception disaster against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. That earned him a PFF grade of 21.4, a catastrophic score that isn’t just the worst single-game grade of the season, but is the worst single-game grade we have ever seen from a QB over the past decade of grading. To put it in even harsher perspective: PFF has graded 2,717 games of NFL regular and postseason play, and Fitzpatrick just posted the worst single-game performance we have ever seen.

Sounds about right.

Better that we don't meet in the SB and both of us just beat the Pats to get each city an individual SuperBowl.

You get your rematch against the Cheats in the SB. We beat them in the AFC Championship at home and get a rematch against the Packers.

In both games Brady and Rodgers get benched for the backups and consider retirement after the severity of the blowout.

Pennsylvania prevails.

Tabris is so horrible he makes me miss LunchBox.

At least LunchBox was trying to be funny (and on occasion even succeeded).

So weird how hard Tabris tries to impress strangers on a videogame message board.

Don't be jealous of us. There's a huge component of self-loathing involved that permeates any fandom of a Philadelphia sports franchise.

That said, I'm somewhere between cautiously optimistic and believer - it's just hard to go full out at this point because we weren't supposed to win 3 games by midseason, let alone be undefeated in our first 3, and we have a long history of disappointment that's hard to shake off. As much as the rest of the league's fans see us as uncompromising assholes, we're hurt inside and always look for a reason for the bottom to fall out. We just express that with intimidation, violence, and loud animosity towards others.

We're fragile psychopaths.

And as an added bonus Wentz is likely not a rapist. They really struck gold with him.

People have called me Tabris. Not sure if I've ever quite understood that connection.

Also, I have no idea what's going on!
