Giant Bomb PSVR stream | It's always Summer in PlayStation VR Nation

Game jitters. All the playfield assets, on-screen controllers, everything that seems to be visible to Jeff and should be stable is constantly jittering(think of a camera constantly trying to 'focus' as the image is fading in and out and I guess that may help to understand). Was really making Jeff and others sick.

That's......worrisome. Someone in chat just said Eurogamer was having a lot of the issues Jeff is having and they got a replacement unit that fixed the issues. Who knows though.

the headset needs more tracking points, and then enable users to plug in a second camera

That's like saying attaching more horses to your cart will always make it go faster. I can't imagine for the purposes of VR that their Move tracking technology isn't already hitting a hard wall.

Yeah, Brad seems more stable, he is not having the same issues, or at least is not mentioning it as much. So I wonder what it is.

DS4 issues at launch that were fixed after a month or two.

PSVR issues at launch.

Sony seems to have issues with launch hardware.

This is not easing my mind at all right now.

There was a comment from Eurogamer that the hardware GB has might be faulty. They ran into the same issues with tracking and were given replacement hardware and that fixed their problems.

Crazy!

They should put a headset down on a stool and observe the extent of that jitter. Maybe compare the two to see if one is worse.

I think Brad said he did do that at home and experienced jitter.

Putting them both on the same stool and seeing the difference in real time is a great idea though.

Really curious to see how this will go for Dan.

Yeah, they mentioned that in-stream.

How does VR work if you're not wearing glasses? Since the screen is close, would someone who is nearsighted be fine not wearing glasses in it?

Yikes! That's really concerning that two bad review units would go out.
