Giant Bomb PSVR stream | It's always Summer in PlayStation VR Nation

Improbable based on what? It sounds like multiple websites may have received faulty units.

Eurogamer did bring it up. Something is up. Jim Sterling said that his was fine. But it does sound like multiple websites got bad faulty units.

Really we only have Eurogamer to go of of right now and they said they got a faulty unit.

Man, this thing really wrecked Jeff
I have never gotten nauseous on Rollercoasters or anything in real life but one time I pushed myself a little too hard in vr and got super sick and had like a weird cold sweat for a couple hours. Vr sickness sucks and usually lasts for a while.

Wait, is Jeff sick? I can't watch the stream. If so that is huge IMO. Jeff has literally never gotten sick on any VR platform after plenty of shows and at-home play. He actually prides himself on that.

If everyone reporting the jitter and related issues got faulty hardware doesn't that suggest a catastrophic fault rate?

Generally speaking review units of tech hardware are pre-tested and are some of the best samples the manufacturer can produce. For there to be faulty hardware, let alone multiple pieces of faulty hardware sent out is... strange to say the least. Somebody pick from the wrong stack when sending them out? ;)

I feel so bad for Jeff. Those headsets have to be faulty. I can't see Sony fucking up this bad with working on it since 2010. I could be wrong, but If it's working fine for most reviewers and bad for a few, then I am leaning towards faulty tech.

Whoa!!! House of the Dead VR?

Edit2: Oh this is the Until Dawn thing. Seems like a fun little rail game.

Edit: FFS you guys talking more about tracking issues (that up until now, haven't been an issue with demo stations or events) than what they're playing doesn't speak well for what they're playing...

yeah bad luck with faults or studio setup or .. something,
because there are literally so many experiences online already posted from game shows and best buys, and nobody complains about headset tracking being bad. Some say the move controller tracking can be janky. Nothing on the headset though.
do they have two cameras and two headsets or one camera?
because if one camera.. maybe its the camera.

its the tracking thats dodge as fuck, thats nothing to do with the headset bar the lack of tracking points, its all to do with the camera and having a controller with only 1 tracking point, in fact maybe thats why the new ds4 has the second light?

theres been a few highlights, most of these games look....bad.

tech demos at best

I honestly thinks this looks better than what I was expecting. At least atmosphere-wise.

The motion controller jitter is REAL though.

I don't know why people keep bringing up studio lighting when they have said it does the same thing at their homes with and without lights on.
