Giant Bomb PSVR Launch Day Support Stream | Not what you're looking for

Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes is one of our favourite games since last year! A bunch of us end up playing it when ever we get together with a bunch of drinks and it is absurdly fun and just outright hilarious as the bombs and other issues get escalated.

This PSVR version kind of sucks if you can't also show the bomb defusal on screen for those that are not playing at all. Half the fun is watching as bystander while others fuck up on both sides. The manual is best read on tablets / phones and computers than on a TV screen

You have the option, going by the menu.

Can the bomb person play with the move controllers? Seems like that would be more intuitive.

You can do it with the Vive controllers, and since the experience is entirely forward facing there should be no occlusion issues, so I imagine you should be able to

Sorry about this, but I don't feel like scanning the thread and I'm saving the stream for later:

Are they still having the same issues?
Not as much, but they are still having tracking issues from time to time. Most notably in Driveclub VR.

They've had weird black screen incidents a few times, but that could be on their end.

Now let's compare this with other priced games.

A good. Crap experience the way they were playing it, both as a stream and with people there not really playing but watching.

I wouldn't trust the Move controller tracking to not fuck up when you're cutting a wire or something. I'd love to play it with Vive controllers though!

That's another problem. I'm not sure how accurate the controllers need to be since I haven't played it in VR for a long time. We use the Steam Controller since it's super simply and the gyro can be used to manoeuvre the bomb as a physical object

That game looked like just plain silly fun. Especially the way it changes your voice output for the player playing the monster and makes it sound all high pitched.

Jeff looks like he's have no fun at all lol, everyone else is laughing and seems to be having fun but he's just seems rather tired or something.

Jeff looks bored in that gif.

Seems like they still haven't learned how to properly setup for camera-based tracking.

Their colored lights and general room lighting cause areas to be blown out, which interfere with LED light tracking on the headset and controller.

Maybe I should apply for a job there and fix this ish.

HOLDONAMINUTE so you had to put the controller into the controller shaped control thing? Get outta here!

Also, a solid green background will give you problems as well as the LEDs may stand out, but meld with the BG which has no texture to differentiate from the person. Just a void of solid color (on top of being lit with studio lights).
