This is what Nintendo became since the Wii era though.
It's absolutely not what they were before.
NES/SNES/N64/Gamecube are all consoles that fit the traditional, powerful home console I loved about Nintendo hardware.
Nintendo changed, just like people change. My wife isn't the same person I married, but I love her anyway and continue to accept her despite new challenges that crop up. I am sure she feels the same way about me. Nintendo will be Nintendo.
What I find interesting is the omnipresent drive to push Nintendo to provide more realistic graphics, when that has been something Nintendo has never done. They want realistic Zelda. Why? Wind Waker was amazing. Again, that is pressuring Nintendo to be something they are not.
