Polak plays close to 20 mins per game. And those aren't quality minutes.I don't know why everyone here shits on Polak. I've always felt Marincin was(is?) the weakest D link.

Saddest part about the 2nd goal is that Andersen was about to recover and clear the puck to the boards. He just needed his strong, stay-at-home defenceman to make a defensive play.

Yeah, I'm kinda worried to see what happens when he comes back in. We actually have 3 right handed shots on D dressed tonight, one on each pairing. When healthy, Holland will demand Blashill put Kronwall in the first D pair and will force him to do so even though the current grouping looks way better and Kronwall has sucked the last couple of years. Hollands gonna Holland.

10. One goalie coach on Torontos Frederik Andersen: Everything stems from the fact he cant get his feet set. Mike Babcock likes his goalies to be aggressive, and Andersen is still getting used to that. All of the difficulties (including trouble catching the puck) stem from the footwork.
