Habs next 5 games are against non playoff teams and 4 of those are at home.

AKA incoming a 1-4-0 record.

those first few minutes of the 3rd period were not what you would call ideal from a leaf perspective

it's the stats that gets people on HF really mad for some reason. The year he scored 39 he had something like 9 or 10 empty netters

lol wtf. that's insane

#Habs become the first team in NHL history to win 7 of their first 8 games in 3 consecutive seasons
Hopefully they can do something with it this time

And for Zombie

Carey Price has now played in 82 games since the start of '14.

He's stopped 93.4% of the shots he's faced in those games.

Pretty good example of the difference between advance stats and reality, the advance stats for this Habs team and last years Habs team are almost the exact same, yet watching the game you can see how much more composed this years team is, and how much more structured they've played.

Imagine how good the habs will be when they reanimate Plekanec in a Halloween ritual.
Legit, if he doesn't pick it up in the next 5-10 games, Habs will need to start thinking about a trade for a legit 2nd line C, he should have 4-5 goals easily with what Radulov is feeding him.

Blue Jackets are a terribly awful terrible possession team.

On the plus side, it's actually nice to watch Seth Jones and Werenski play. It's sort of a new sensation to enjoy watching defensive play for this team.

Edit: Dalton Prout, you are not good at this hockey thing

We won a shootout, against the Blues and now have 6 wins in a row... this season just keeps getting stranger for us.

I just got home from the game. I was disappointed by the regulation goal the Blues gave up, as Shattenkirk played it soft and Allen gave up his post. Shorties are always going to be bad goals, but that was just terrible. We've been playing poorly at home for a while now, but tonight was a solid effort.

Still, it was a great game and the OT was amazing fun. Grats on the win! Always good to have a Division....errr Eastern conference rival in town.
