How many chapters are there?
How many chapters are there?
I hope I am still on the first chapter and it gets better because so far I have went to fetch a power core. Only to get back to fetch another power core, to then get back walk in the Titan for a bit then do some corridor shooting. Not exactly seeing anything new here. Especially when You add in the by the numbers mech to human banter.

Buckle up, that's the least interesting component.I hope I am still on the first chapter and it gets better because so far I have went to fetch a power core. Before everyone starts attacking Dabi, there is a spoiler thread right next to this one on the front page. Probably clicked on the wrong thread.

except even in that thread, you'd only post that stuff if you read that it has unmarked spoilers
Yeah...sorry
Any news/rumors about which graphical improvements we might expect for PS4 PRO ?
I really can't wait to play this Game.
Short length + interesting set pieces + first person parkour + cool sci-fi pretty much guarantees I will. I'm kind of easy to please
How would peple compare this to Singularity? I recall that being another FPS that surprised people with cool mechanics and scenarios
It's good, but those saying it's better than DOOM, I have to wonder if you're the type to just get very excited about the newest thing.
This still feels like MW and typical military shooter single player. It's done very well but it never leaves that genre.
DOOM was some next level shit.
Well, yeah, they're totally different subgenres, excelling in their own waysIt's good, but those saying it's better than DOOM, I have to wonder if you're the type to just get very excited about the newest thing.

That's basically it. lolMatt Lees said it's like Valve made a CoD game inspired by Binary Domain.
Great impressions. Will check it out eventually.
Wow. Is it really that good?Like I said in my review, it's the Super Mario Galaxy 2 of shooters. Nonstop inventiveness wrapped in unbelievable locomotion.
DOOM for me was all about level design, character movement, and encounters. It's good, but those saying it's better than DOOM, I have to wonder if you're the type to just get very excited about the newest thing.

I really don't see how. I mean it's a decent campaign, better than most shooters but it does kind of drag on and there's too much reliance on cover. DOOM is spectacular nonstop action.I think Wolf shits on DOOM ;p
8 + training
8. Total time was about 6 hours for me on hard.
Thanks.
So how fluid does the game feel? Judging from the Gisnt Bomb Quick Look it looks like the campaign is 30fps while the MP is 60.
Hopefully I get the game from gamefly this week. Quick question to anyone who's play the campaign, how does it compare to call a duty campaigns? Is the story well told? That's my main concern.
That level serves as an organic tutorial on movement, combat and special abilities. Once that's done you get to the meat and potatoes of the game.I hope I am still on the first chapter and it gets better because so far I have went to fetch a power core. If it was any more fluid I'd have a fried PS4 wrapped in towels. So how fluid does the game feel?
I thought this deserved a thread of its own because people are surprised at how good this is.
Titanfall 2 is mostly known for its multiplayer and usually, for these sort of games, a Campaign is just tacked on or not important. I say that even without the multiplayer, this sits there with DOOM and Wolfenstein as shooters you should buy for its SP alone (imo I think it shits on those two).
Some impressions from the |OT|:
my larger post here
and many, many many many more

Part of me wonders how this would be received by now if it was the very first Titanfall game and didn't have a multiplayer.
Respawn put in a lot of work into this Campaign and it really shows. Multiplayer be damned, don't sleep on this if SP if your thing.
